REFRIGERANT COOLING FOR VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE
An example refrigerant system according to an exemplary aspect of this disclosure includes, among other things, a refrigerant loop having at least a condenser, an evaporator, and a compressor. The compressor includes a motor in communication with a variable speed drive. The system further includes a cooling circuit including a pressure regulator downstream of a heat exchanger, the heat exchanger absorbing heat from the variable speed drive.
Method of controlling the temperature of a controller of an electric compressor for an air conditioner in a vehicle
A method of controlling the temperature of a controller of an electric compressor for an air conditioner in a vehicle is provided, which prevents an excessive increase in temperature of the controller under the control of an output current of the controller. The method includes a temperature-determination stage of detecting the temperature of the controller and determining whether or not the detected temperature is equal to or lower than a reference temperature that is lower than a predefined target temperature by a specified number of degrees when an actuating signal of the air conditioner is generated in a switched-on stage of a vehicle. A current-control stage controls an output current of the controller to decrease the temperature until the detected temperature reaches the reference temperature or lower if the detected temperature is determined to be higher than the reference temperature.
Refrigeration cycle apparatus and outdoor heat source unit
There is provided a refrigeration cycle apparatus in which an outdoor heat source unit, an indoor unit, and a water heating unit are connected, and an air conditioning operation and a water heating operation can be performed separately, and an exhaust-heat recovery operation can be performed by simultaneously performing air cooling and water heating. The outdoor heat source unit includes a compressor for compressing refrigerant, a refrigerant air-heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between the refrigerant and outside air, a fan for cooling the refrigerant air-heat exchanger, a control device that includes an inverter device for driving the compressor, and a heat sink for dissipating heat of the inverter device, and a switching element in the inverter device is constituted by an element formed by a wide bandgap semiconductor.
Heat exchanger, electric control box and air conditioning system
A heat exchanger includes: a heat exchanger body, the heat exchanger body being provided with first micro-channels and second micro-channels; and a header assembly, including a first header and a second header. The first header is provided with a first header channel which is used for providing a first refrigerant flow to the first micro-channels and/or collecting a first refrigerant flow flowing through the first micro-channels, and the second header is provided with a second header channel which is used for providing a second refrigerant flow to the second micro-channels and/or collecting a second refrigerant flow flowing through the second micro-channels, and heat is exchanged between the first refrigerant flow flowing through the first micro-channels and the second refrigerant flow flowing through the second micro-channels.

The variable frequency drive cooling device includes an inlet conduit, an outlet conduit equipped with a first electric valve, a first branch pipe and a second branch pipe connected in parallel between the inlet conduit and the outlet conduit, the first branch pipe being configured to cool a variable frequency drive cabinet, and the second branch pipe being configured to cool a variable frequency drive module; a bypass, one end of the bypass communicating with an outlet pipe a compressor, and another end of the bypass communicating with an outlet of the first electric valve in the outlet conduit, the bypass being equipped with a second electric valve and an ejector; and a third branch pipe, one end of the third branch pipe communicating with the ejector, and another end of the third branch pipe communicating with an inlet of the first electric valve, the third branch pipe being equipped with a third electric valve.
STATE ESTIMATION DEVICE, DRIVE SYSTEM, REFRIGERATION SYSTEM, FAN SYSTEM, STATE ESTIMATION METHOD, AND STATE ESTIMATION PROGRAM
In a calculation process, a control unit calculates a feature quantity from a physical quantity obtained from a device within a predetermined period. In an estimation process, the control unit estimates the state of the device, based on the feature quantity calculated by the calculation process. In a restriction process, the control unit restricts the estimation process when an estimation restriction condition is satisfied, maintains restriction of the estimation process until a standby release condition is satisfied when a restriction release condition is satisfied, and releases the restriction of the estimation process after the standby release condition is satisfied. The estimation restriction condition is a condition in which there is a possibility of occurrence of erroneous estimation in the estimation process. The restriction release condition is a condition in which the erroneous estimation in the estimation process is suppressed.
