The system includes an expansion nozzle inserted into a refrigerant supply pipe, a preliminary cooling unit wound around an outer circumferential surface of a refrigerant recovering pipe, a temperature sensor for measuring a temperature of a drum, and, a controller for adjusting a start time point of the drum based on the temperature. Thus, the temperature of the refrigerant can be stably maintained to improve the ice making quality, the production cost of the system can be reduced, and the constant production amount of the ice can be maintained.

A supply unit installed on the body to store and drop beer. A pulverizing unit is plate shaped and an end thereof is adjacent to the ice-making unit. Beer is supplied from the supply unit to the storage space. The ice-making unit is rotated to contact the beer and form a beer ice layer thereon. The pulverizing unit separates the beer ice layer from the ice-making unit.

In particular, the refrigerating cylinder internally has a gap extending along an inner surface thereof opposite the outer side wall. The gap is connected to the cooling unit so as to receive a flow of a refrigerating substance to be conveyed therein to cool the outer side wall of the refrigerating cylinder.

A snow-making apparatus has a housing, an evaporator roller rotatable in the housing, and a rotary distributor connected to the roller for circulating a coolant through the evaporator roller and thereby cooling the roller. Nozzles on the housing project a mixture of water and air at the evaporator roller such that the liquid freezes into a layer of ice crystals on the roller. A doctor blade smooths the layer of ice crystal on the rotating roller, and a scraper blade scrapes the ice crystals off the roller.
