Ice Maker with a Threaded Connection Between a Motor Shaft and an Auger
An ice maker includes a casing that defines a chamber. The casing extends between a top portion and a bottom portion. An extruder die is mounted to the casing at the top portion of the casing. A motor is positioned above the extruder die. An auger is disposed within the chamber of the casing. The auger is coupled to a shaft of the motor with a threaded connection such that the auger is rotatable with the motor along a rotational direction within the chamber of the casing. The threaded connection between the auger and the shaft of the motor is wound opposite the rotational direction of the auger. A related refrigerator appliance is also provided.
Ice Maker with a Radial and Thrust Bearing
An ice maker includes a casing that defines a chamber. The casing extends between a top portion and a bottom portion. An extruder die is mounted to the casing at the top portion of the casing. An auger is disposed within the chamber of the casing. A radial sleeve bearing engages the auger at the extruder die. A radial and thrust bearing engages the auger at the bottom portion of the casing. A related refrigerator appliance is also provided.
ROTARY CRUSHER AND FEEDER FOR ICE BLASTING SYSTEM
An ice blasting system comprising a hopper to receive bulk ice and a rotary crusher disposed inside the hopper, the rotary crusher having rotary crusher arms that cooperate with anvils to produce crushed ice from the bulk ice. The system includes a rotary feeder mechanism disposed below the hopper, the rotary feeder mechanism having a rotor that includes ice-receiving pockets for receiving the crushed ice. The rotor rotates against an airtight seal block and delivers the crushed ice into a high-pressure airstream passing through the rotary feeder mechanism to thereby entrain the crushed ice into the high-pressure airstream whereby the ice-entrained airstream subsequently exits the ice blasting system through an outlet.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a refrigerator body, a door body and an ice making compartment. The refrigerator body includes a storage compartment. The door body is configured to open or dose the storage compartment. The ice making compartment is disposed in the storage compartment, and includes an ice making compartment shell, an ice maker, and an ice storage box. The ice maker is configured to make ice cubes. The ice storage box is located below the ice maker, and is configured to store the ice cubes made by the ice maker. The ice storage box includes a box body and a first ice baffle. At least a part of the first ice baffle is located in the box body, and the first ice baffle is configured to prevent the ice cubes from accumulating at a position of the box body close to the door body.
Refrigerator
The present disclosure relates to a refrigerator including an ice bucket configured to store ice, a transfer member configured to transfer ice stored in the ice bucket, and an ice crushing device provided at an outer side of the ice bucket and configured to discharge cubed ice discharged from the ice bucket without crushing, or to crush and discharge the cubed ice.
Ice making assembly and refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance or ice supply, as provided herein, may include an ice maker, an ice bucket, and a shutter. The ice maker may include a mold body defining a discrete first compartment and second compartment within which water freezes. The ice bucket may define a first chamber and a second chamber. The second chamber may be separated from the first chamber. The ice bucket may further define an outlet opening having a first portion in fluid communication with the first chamber and a second portion in fluid communication with the second chamber. The shutter may be disposed at the outlet opening and movable between a first position and a second position. The first position may include the shutter covering the second portion and spaced apart from the first portion. The second position may include the shutter covering the first portion and spaced apart from the second portion.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes an ice crushing device and a driving device. The ice crushing device includes a stirrer and a transmission assembly. The stirrer includes a rotary shaft. The transmission assembly includes a first cylindrical gear, a first intermediate shaft, a second cylindrical gear, a second intermediate shaft, a third cylindrical gear, a first bevel gear and a second bevel gear. Any one of the first cylindrical gear, the second cylindrical gear, the third cylindrical gear, and the first bevel gear is defined as a driving gear. The driving gear is connected to the driving device and is configured as an incomplete gear. The driving gear is configured to rotate due to driving of the driving device, so as to drive the rotary shaft of the stirrer to rotate intermittently.
Ice crushing device
Disclosed is an ice crushing device, and relates to the field of ice crushing technology. The ice crushing device includes a conveying mechanism, a guide mechanism and an ice crushing mechanism. An upper end of the conveying mechanism is open and used for placing ice blocks, and a lower end of the conveying mechanism communicates with an upper end of the guide mechanism; a lower end of the guide mechanism communicates with an upper end of the ice crushing mechanism; the conveying mechanism is used for guiding the ice blocks into the guide mechanism, and the ice blocks in the guide mechanism fall into the ice crushing mechanism through the upper end of the ice crushing mechanism; and the ice crushing mechanism is used for crushing ice. The ice crushing device can improve the ice crushing efficiency and the ice crushing safety.
