A refrigerator includes a cabinet having a first storage compartment and a second storage compartment, and a cooling module removably mounted to the cabinet. The cooling module includes an evaporator, a condenser, and a compressor. A first cold air duct extends from the first storage compartment and is configured to allow a portion of the cooling module in which the evaporator is arranged, to communicate with the first storage compartment when the cooling module is coupled to the cabinet, and a second cold air duct is different from the first cold air duct and extends from the second storage compartment. The second cold air duct is configured to allow the portion of the cooling module in which the evaporator is arranged, to communicate with the second storage compartment.

A method for monitoring a drawer interior of a vacuum drawer device when the lid is supported by the drawer airtight and closed, includes: periodic measurement of the relative humidity with a humidity sensor arranged in the path of a dehumidifying channel in the lid or, respectively, the drawer interior; comparison of the measured relative humidity with an upper threshold; and as soon as the measured relative humidity is above the upper threshold, opening the valve and inducting a ventilator arranged in a recess or in the path of a dehumidifying channel in the lid. Fresh air is sucked through an air inlet opening, circulated, and thereafter released again from the dehumidifying channel and the drawer interior communicating therewith, until the relative humidity reaches a lower threshold measured by the humidity sensor. Then the valve is closed, the ventilator is stopped, and the controller switches into the humidity monitoring mode.

One or more doors are coupled to the frame assembly. At least one of the doors includes one or more window panels, a housing assembly that holds the window panels, and a gasket. A ridge projects from the rear surface of the housing assembly between the gasket and the interior space of the enclosure. The ridge extends across a portion of an air gap between the rear surface of the housing assembly and a front surface of the frame assembly.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED DISPENSE DRAWER

A device for dispensing items includes a cabinet, and a drawer within the cabinet. The drawer includes one or more compartments for storing items and a cooling system within the drawer. The cooling system is configured to maintain the one or more compartments in the drawer at a temperature below the temperature of the environment surrounding the cabinet. The drawer further includes thermal insulation at sides of the drawer and thermal insulation beneath the one or more compartments. The refrigeration system may be a thermoelectric cooling system.

The fan assembly (50) comprises, arranged side by side: a first layer (70) of expanded polystyrene; a fan (72) comprising a rotor (82) with a rotation axis (X) inclined with respect to a vertical direction (V) and a cover plate (76). The fan assembly (50) comprises a fastening device (90) apt to fasten the cover plate (76) to the first layer (70) to keep the fan assembly (50) in the assembled configuration.
