A fan assembly including an air duct; an evaporator coil cover; a radial fan mounted onto the evaporator coil cover and disposed between the air duct and the evaporator coil cover; wherein the air duct includes a ring portion which interlocks with the evaporator coil cover around the radial fan; wherein the evaporator coil cover comprises three darts positioned substantially uniformly around the radial fan position; three grommets, each grommet having a central opening configured to fit over a dart, each grommet having a circumferential ridge configured to interlock with a lower rim or the radial fan is provided. Further provided is a method of reducing noise in a refrigeration appliance.

HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE WITH TWO PLATE-SHAPED LIGHT GUIDES OF A LIGHTING MODULE ARRANGED PARTIALLY OFFSET FROM ONE ANOTHER
20220187012 · 2022-06-16 ·

A household refrigeration appliance has a receiving compartment for food and a planar lighting module for lighting the receiving compartment. The lighting module has a first lighting sub-module with a first plate-shaped light guide and a separate, second lighting sub-module directly adjoining the first sub-module and having a second plate-shaped light guide. The first light guide has a first edge and the second light guide has a first edge. The first edges are arranged facing one another and in a direction at right angles to a plane defined by the lighting module, an offset is formed between the first edges, so that in this direction the first edges are arranged at a distance from one another perpendicular to the plane.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING REFRIGERATOR
20220170685 · 2022-06-02 ·

A method for controlling a refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that, when the temperature of a freezing chamber is in a satisfactory temperature range, and a deep-freezing chamber mode is turned on such that a deep-freezing chamber cooling operation is being performed, the refrigerator is controlled to perform a cold air sagging prevention operation in which a fan of the freezing chamber repeatedly starts and stops at regular intervals.

Refrigerator having outer case and inner case for distributing cool air

A refrigerator includes an outer case. The refrigerator further includes an inner case that is located in the outer case and that defines a storage space. The refrigerator further includes a metal plate that is coupled to inner surfaces of an upper portion and both sides of the inner case and that includes a front end that is spaced apart from a front end of the inner case a first distance.

REFRIGERATOR HAVING CENTRIFUGAL FAN WITH VOLUTE

Disclosed is a refrigerator having a centrifugal fan with a volute, which includes a cabinet, an evaporator, a centrifugal fan, and an air supply duct. A cooling chamber located at a lower part and at least one storage compartment located above the cooling chamber are defined in the cabinet; the evaporator is disposed in the cooling chamber and is configured to cool airflow entering the cooling chamber to form cooled airflow; the centrifugal fan includes a volute and an impeller disposed in the volute; and the air supply duct is detachably connected with the volute, communicates with a volute air outlet, and is configured to deliver the cooled airflow into the at least one storage compartment. In the refrigerator of the present invention, the cooling chamber is located at a lower part of the cabinet, so that the cooling chamber occupies a lower space in the cabinet; the storage compartment is located above the cooling chamber, a compressor chamber may be defined behind the cooling chamber, and the storage compartment no longer needs to make room for the compressor chamber, thus guaranteeing the storage volume of the storage compartment. In addition, the air supply duct and the centrifugal fan adopt a split design, which implements modularization, is convenient for disassembly, assembly and transportation, and improves the yield rate.

REFRIGERATOR HAVING EVAPORATOR DISPOSED AT BOTTOM OF REFRIGERATOR BODY
20230272964 · 2023-08-31 ·

Provided is a refrigerator having an evaporator disposed at the bottom of a refrigerator body. The refrigerator comprises: the refrigerator body having a bottom inner liner, the bottom inner liner defining a cooling compartment and a storage space, and the cooling compartment being disposed below the storage space; and the evaporator generally in the shape of a flat cuboid, arranged in the cooling component, and placed inclinedly along the depth direction of the refrigerator with respect to the horizontal direction, the direction of inclination being upward from front to back. By placing the evaporator inclinedly, the space utilization is improved, and an air path is further improved so that an airflow can flow more uniformly and smoothly throughout an air return process and the air circulation efficiency is improved.

Entrance refrigerator

A tray is mounted inside a storage compartment of an entrance refrigerator. A bottom portion of the tray is spaced apart from a bottom portion of the storage compartment, and gaps are provided between the sides of the tray and the sides of the storage compartment. With this configuration, it is possible to minimize a blockage of a cold air flow path by goods stored on the tray in the storage compartment.

REFRIGERATOR CONTROL METHOD
20220154994 · 2022-05-19 ·

In a refrigerator control method according to an embodiment of the present invention, a control unit intermittently turns on a temperature sensor on a predetermined cycle when a deep-freezing chamber mode is turned off, so that the temperature sensor senses the internal temperature of a deep-freezing chamber for a first set time, and the sensed internal temperature of the deep-freezing chamber is transmitted to the control unit so as to minimize power consumption.
