The composite encapsulation system includes a base adhesive and an outer adhesive, wherein the base adhesive defines a structural adhesive component and the outer adhesive defines a sealing adhesive component.
VACUUM ADIABATIC BODY AND REFRIGERATOR
A vacuum adiabatic body includes: a first plate member defining at least one portion of a wall for a first space; a second plate member defining at least one portion of a wall for a second space having a different temperature from the first space; a sealing part sealing the first plate member and the second plate member to provide a third space that has a temperature between the temperature of the first space and the temperature of the second space and is in a vacuum state; a supporting unit maintaining the third space; a heat resistance unit for decreasing a heat transfer amount between the first plate member and the second plate member; an exhaust port through which a gas in the third space is exhausted; a side frame provided at an edge portion of the third space, the side frame having at least one portion defining a wall for the third space; and a peripheral frame fixed to the side frame to have a part mounted thereto. Accordingly, each part of the vacuum adiabatic body can be mounted without any interference, and an adiabatic effect can be improved.
Gasket for refrigerator door
A gasket for a refrigerator door is provided. The gasket includes a body configured to be arranged between a main body of a refrigerator and a refrigerator door, and a magnet inserted to the body and arranged to be attached to or detached from the main body of the refrigerator. The body includes, by weight % (wt %), about 30 to 60% of thermoplastic resin, about 20 to 40% of plasticizer, about 3 to 30% of filler, and one or more other additives. The filler is provided with one or more hollow particles or a porous material having a diameter of about 1 to 100 μm, the filler having a heat conductivity of about 0.0001 to 0.2 W/m.Math.K.
APPLIANCE TRIM BREAKER
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet having an inner liner spaced apart from an outer wrapper and a trim breaker extending between the inner liner and the outer wrapper to define an insulating cavity therebetween. The trim breaker includes first and second opposing vertical portions, a top portion, a bottom portion, and a central portion. The top portion is integrally formed with each vertical portion at a respective upper corner, and the bottom portion is integrally formed with each vertical portion at a respective lower corner. A first plurality of ribs extends from an outer rim of the trim breaker and at least partially along the central portion, and a second plurality of ribs extends from the outer rim of at least one of the first and second vertical portions and across at least one of the upper and lower corners.
REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE CABINET ASSEMBLY
A cabinet assembly for a refrigerating appliance includes an inner liner having a forward liner edge. The forward liner edge defines an access opening. An outer wrapper is disposed around the inner liner and has a forward wrapper edge. The outer wrapper is spaced-apart from the inner liner to define an insulating cavity therebetween. A mullion assembly extends across the access opening. A trim breaker extends about the access opening and is coupled to the forward wrapper edge and the forward liner edge to seal the insulating cavity. The trim breaker includes a spacing flange positioned to contact the mullion assembly to define a receiving space between the trim breaker and the mullion assembly.
HOME APPLIANCE HAVING A HOUSING WITH A SEALING MEMBER AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING THE SEALING MEMBER
A home appliance contains a housing which surrounds an internal space. The housing has an outer side wall facing outside, an inner side wall spaced apart from the outer side wall, a thermal insulation material which fills a spacing between the side walls, and a front flange connected to the inner side wall from one side and to the outer side wall from the other side. An external sealing member is provided on a connection region of the housing where the front flange connects to the inner side wall, so as to provide a barrier to the thermal insulation material.
Refrigerator with vacuum space
A refrigerator includes a body having a storage space. The body includes an inner case having the storage space, an outer case having an inside surface spaced a predetermined gap from an outside surface of the inner case to house the inner case, a vacuum space provided between the inner case and the outer case sealed to maintain a vacuum state for heat insulating between the inner case and the outer case, a supporting portion provided to contact with the outside surface of the inner case and the inside surface of the outer case to maintain a spaced state of the vacuum space, and a dewing preventive unit adjacent to the supporting portion for preventing dewing from taking place at the outer case by suppressing surface temperature drop of the outer case caused by cold conducted from the inner case to the outer case through the supporting portion.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING HOUSING PARTS OF THE HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
A household appliance includes at least one compartment and a housing connection arrangement which surrounds the compartment and includes an outer liner facing outside, an inner liner spaced apart from the outer liner, and a housing frame connected to the outer liner from one side and to the inner liner facing the compartment from the other side. At least one elastic member is provided on a region of the housing connection arrangement where the housing frame connects to the outer liner. At least one reinforcement member is provided adjacent to the outer liner, the housing frame and the elastic member. The reinforcement member includes a first connection lug which is at least partially received by a portion of the elastic member from one side, and a second connection lug configured to be connected to the outer liner with a connection member, from the other side.
Trim breaker for an insulated appliance
