At least one elastic member is provided on a region of the housing connection arrangement where the housing frame connects to the outer liner. At least one reinforcement member is provided adjacent to the outer liner, the housing frame and the elastic member. The reinforcement member includes a first connection lug which is at least partially received by a portion of the elastic member from one side, and a second connection lug configured to be connected to the outer liner with a connection member, from the other side.

BARRIER LAYER FOR INSULATED STRUCTURES

An insulating structure for an appliance includes a trim breaker, a wrapper, and a liner. The wrapper and liner coupled to the trim breaker and at least partially defining a structural cabinet. A barrier is positioned between the liner and the wrapper. The barrier is also coupled to the trim breaker. An inner compressible gasket is proximate the liner, and an outer gasket is proximate the wrapper. The inner gasket and the outer compressible gasket are coupled to the barrier.

Heat insulating structure for cooling device, and cooling device

The invention is provided with a housing which has an inner space open in a first direction, a partition body which divides the inlet of the inner space into a plurality of openings arranged next to each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a door which is provided to each of the openings and which closes the opening from the first direction side, a first vacuum heat insulating material which is disposed inside the partition body, and a second vacuum heat insulating material which is disposed inside the door. The first vacuum heat insulating material and the second vacuum heat insulating material are arranged so as to overlap each other when viewed from the first direction side or from the second direction side.

A refrigerator includes a body having a storage space. The body includes an inner case having the storage space, an outer case having an inside surface spaced a predetermined gap from an outside surface of the inner case to house the inner case, a vacuum space provided between the inner case and the outer case sealed to maintain a vacuum state for heat insulating between the inner case and the outer case, a supporting portion provided to contact with the outside surface of the inner case and the inside surface of the outer case to maintain a spaced state of the vacuum space, and a dewing preventive unit adjacent to the supporting portion for preventing dewing from taking place at the outer case by suppressing surface temperature drop of the outer case caused by cold conducted from the inner case to the outer case through the supporting portion.

Refrigeration appliance cabinet assembly

A refrigerating appliance includes a cabinet assembly that defines an access opening for storing food goods. The cabinet assembly defines an insulating cavity that receives insulation. A mullion assembly extends across the access opening and a trim breaker extends about the access opening. The trim breaker includes a body portion that covers the insulating cavity. First and second connecting flanges extend outwardly from the body portion in a first direction and operably coupled to an inside wall and an outside wall of the cabinet assembly, such that the trim breaker seals the insulating cavity. A forward spacing flange extends outwardly from the body portion of the trim breaker in a second direction that is opposed to the first direction of the first and second connecting flanges. The forward spacing flange contacts the mullion assembly and at least partially defines a receiving space between the mullion assembly and the trim breaker.

REFRIGERATOR

A refrigerator includes a refrigerator body and a door. The refrigerator body includes a storage chamber. The door closes off the storage chamber to be capable of opening and closing. The door includes a box-shaped outer contour member, an internal part, and a heat insulation member. The internal part is a part different from a foam heat insulation member and is provided inside the outer contour member. The heat insulation member is provided inside the outer contour member or as at least a part of the outer contour member, contains an aero gel, a xerogel, or a cryogel, and overlaps the internal part when the refrigerator is seen in a front view.

Structural panel for an appliance having stamped components and method therefor

An operable panel for an appliance includes a metallic outer wrapper having a perimetrical wrapper edge that partially defines a perimetrical breaker channel, an inner liner and a plurality of corner brackets disposed proximate the perimetrical wrapper edge. Each corner bracket cooperates with the perimetrical wrapper edge to fully define the perimetrical breaker channel. A trim breaker is adhered to the metallic outer wrapper and the corner brackets at the perimetrical breaker channel and having a liner channel that receives a portion of the inner liner. The trim breaker extends between the inner liner and the outer wrapper. An insulation material is disposed within an insulating cavity defined between the inner liner and the outer wrapper.

VACUUM INSULATED STRUCTURE

An insulating structure for an appliance includes a trim breaker, a first panel, a second panel, and an adhesive. The trim breaker defines a first groove and a second groove. The first panel is disposed within the first groove and is coupled to the trim breaker. The second panel is disposed within the second groove and is coupled to the trim breaker. The adhesive is disposed within the first and second grooves and is coupled to the first and second panels.

Standoff feature for appliance

A standoff feature for an appliance includes a connecting member having a first end and a second end. A first side member extends in a first direction from the first end of the connecting member. A second side member is spaced from the first side member. The second side member extends in the first direction from the second end of the connecting member. A first flange extends from a first side edge of the connecting member. The first side edge extends between the first end and the second end. The first flange extends in a second direction from the connecting member. A second flange extends from a second side edge of the connecting member. The second side edge extends between the first end and the second end and opposes the first side edge. The second flange extends in the second direction from the connecting member.
