Method for freezing a liquid
A method for freezing a liquid located in a container, in particular a liquid drug, includes exposing the container to a cooling element such as cold gas in order to freeze the liquid. The cold gas preferably flows around the container, and/or the liquid is cooled in another way in order to freeze the liquid. The container is insulated at a surface of at least one first volume portion of the container, and the container is cooled nearly immediately at a surface of a second volume portion of the container by the cold gas such that the liquid freezes through later in the at least one first volume portion than in the second volume portion.
REFRIGERATOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A refrigerator which comprises a housing, a refrigerating inner liner, a freezing inner liner and a foaming layer formed between the housing, the refrigerating inner liner and the freezing inner liner; the housing comprises a back plate and two side plates, and the foaming layer comprises a first foaming zone disposed close to the back plate, a second foaming zone disposed close to the side plates and a third foaming zone disposed in an interior of the middle beam, and the third foaming zone is connected to the second foaming zone; the refrigerator further comprises a sealing device that at least partially spaces the first foaming zone apart from the third foaming zone. After the foaming material reaches the first foaming zone, a lot of foaming material may be limited from entering the interior of the middle beam, so that the filling uniformity can be further improved effectively.
VACUUM INSULATION MATERIAL, AND THERMALLY INSULATING CONTAINER AND THERMALLY INSULATING WALL USING SAME
Refrigerator door (25) includes outer packaging material (55) including a resin sheet, and a core material and gas adsorption each contained in outer packaging material (55). The gas adsorption device includes a vacuum sealed container containing a gas adsorbing substance that adsorbs various gases, an opening pin that opens the vacuum sealed container by a physical load from an outside, and a load-bearing spacer that suppresses displacement of the opening pin to less than or equal to a predetermined amount.
VACUUM INSULATED REFRIGERATOR STRUCTURE WITH FEATURE FOR CONTROLLING DEFORMATION AND IMPROVED AIR WITHDRAWAL
A vacuum insulated structure including a first cover member of a stamped unitary sheet defining a perimeter portion positioned at a first planar level and first rib formed in the unitary sheet extending to a second planar level spaced axially outward and disposed radially inward of the perimeter portion, a second cover member, and thermal bridge interconnecting the first cover member and the second cover member at the perimeter portions thereof to define an insulating cavity therebetween. The insulating cavity is a sealed cavity having a vacuum drawn therefrom, and the first rib defines a first portion of a path for air flow out of the sealed cavity during a vacuum draw process.
HCFO-CONTAINING POLYURETHANE FOAM-FORMING COMPOSITIONS, RELATED FOAMS AND METHODS FOR THEIR PRODUCTION
Polyurethane foam-forming compositions, methods of producing polyurethane foams, polyurethane foams produced from such compositions made by such methods, as well as isocyanate-reactive compositions. The polyurethane foam-forming compositions include a polyol blend, a blowing agent composition, and a polyisocyanate. The polyol blend includes an aromatic amine-initiated polyether polyol, a saccharide-initiated polyether polyol, and an aromatic polyester polyol and has a content of —C.sub.2H.sub.4O— units of 3 to 6% by weight, based on the total weight of the polyurethane foam-forming composition. The blowing agent composition includes a hydrochlorofluoroolefin and a carbon dioxide-generating chemical blowing agent.
REFRIGERATOR AND REFRIGERATOR MANUFACTURING METHOD
A refrigerator is disclosed including a refrigerator compartment configured to store food, and a door configured to selectively open and close the refrigerator compartment. The door includes a first frame disposed on a front surface and side surfaces of the door, and second frames connected to a top and a bottom of the first frame, where the first frame and/or the second frames including fixing portions configured to fix the first frame to the second frames. A manufacturing method for efficiently manufacturing a refrigerator is also disclosed.
HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT SHIPPING CONTAINER
A robust, durable, easy to use, reusable shipping container is disclosed that is capable of protecting contents from surrounding high temperatures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of at least three and a half hours. The container includes an inner chamber surrounded by an outer chamber. A phase change liquid (PCL) is sequestered in a porous support matrix contained in the inner chamber, while the outer chamber is filled with high temperature insulation, forming an outer barrier layer that is designed to reduce heat flux into the inner chamber.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator having an improved structure configured to increase the energy efficiency includes a main body provided with an inner case and an outer case, a storage compartment formed inside of the inner case, an insulation material provided between the inner case and the outer case to insulate the storage compartment and a flange having the anisotropy having different heat resistance distribution to insulate the storage compartment, together with the insulation material.
Double cabinet vacuum insulated refrigerator with a structural foamed mullion
An insulation system for an appliance includes a first vacuum insulated structure having a first set of sidewalls that define a first refrigerating compartment, a second vacuum insulated structure having a second set of sidewalls that define a second refrigerating compartment and a medial insulation structure having a rigid perimeter wall. The rigid perimeter wall includes a front portion that defines at least one hinge support adapted to support an appliance door. The rigid perimeter wall defines an insulating cavity that is filled with an insulating material. The first vacuum insulated structure engages a first edge of the perimeter wall and the second vacuum insulated structure engages a second edge of the perimeter wall.
