Picnic Cooler with Internal Compartment for Cooling with Liquid Nitrogen
A picnic cooler with a cooling mechanism based on the use of liquid nitrogen, that comprises four sides, bottom, cover, an internal compartment, an adapter. The internal compartment is integrated into one or more sides of the cooler and is made of a material that cools rapidly upon contact with the quick nitrogen. The internal compartment has one or more ventilation opening. The connector is designed to enable the attaching of an external canister of liquid nitrogen so as to enable introduction of liquid nitrogen from the canister into the internal compartment through the connector.
CONTAINER ASSEMBLY AND LID THEREFOR WITH THERMAL RESERVOIR
A cooler has a body and a lid that co-operate. The lid is movable between closed and open positions. The lid is a freezable reservoir. A filler port is located inside the lid. The entrance of the filler port into the lid is located at a height part way between the inside and outside walls of the lid. The lid has a downwardly extending hollow peripheral formation. The filler port is spanwise inset from the peripheral formation. The lid has spanwise extending internal formations that stiffen the lid and divide the internal chamber into sub-volumes connected by necks through which liquid can flow. The inside and outside walls of the lid may be connected. The lid is provided with a “fill to” line visible from the filling port to discourage over-filling. The lid may have an insulated cap, and the cooler may have an insulated jacket.
Beverage containers and coolants therefore
The device includes a container (10) having a top (12) and a bottom (14). A receptacle (15) is formed in the container and joined to an orifice (22) at the bottom (14). A cooling medium (26) is contained within the receptacle and able to retain a cooling environment to cool the beverage. In one embodiment, a beverage container has an opening (72) that permits the emptying of the beverage from the container and a coolant capsule (73) within said container. The cooling capsule (73) contains a cooling medium and the capsule is dimensioned such that the capsule is larger than the opening (72) but has surface characteristics (77,78) which permit the beverage within the container to bypass the capsule (73) and to exit the opening.
Thermal receptacle with phase change material
A phase change apparatus has a generally tubular housing with an open upper and lower end and a sidewall having inner and outer surfaces with a chamber defined therein. At least one of the surfaces is convoluted, and a phase change material is disposed in the chamber. The upper end of the generally tubular housing engaged the upper end of an insulated cup. At least one passage is defined between the inner and outer surfaces of the generally tubular housing to allow the flow of liquid when the cup is tilted. The phase change material disposed in the chamber absorbs thermal energy from the liquid and then releases the thermal energy back to the liquid to maintain the temperature of the liquid.
Transport container for transporting temperature-sensitive transport goods
A transport container for transporting temperature-sensitive transport goods, including an interior for receiving the transport goods, is definable by an enclosure made up of several layers including at least one latent heat accumulator layer or at least one latent heat accumulator element, at least one energy distribution layer made of a highly heat-conductive material disposed on a side facing away from the interior, and/or on the side facing the interior, of the at least one latent heat accumulator layer and/or the at least one latent heat accumulator element.
Method for preparing a cold beverage
The invention concerns a method for preparing a cold beverage with an apparatus (1) for mixing and storing a beverage, said apparatus comprising: —a container body (2), comprising a floor (21) and a sidewall (22) extending upwardly and longitudinally from the floor to an upper edge (221), —a removable and rotatable mixing device (23) positioned within the container body, —a motor (3) cooperating with the mixing device (23) through the floor of the container body in order to rotate the mixing device, wherein the method comprises the step of: —providing a mixing device (23), a part of said mixing device being covered with ice, —positioning said mixing device in the container body (2) in order to cooperate with the motor, —introducing at least one beverage liquid in the container body, —actuating the motor (3) to rotate the mixing device in the at least one beverage liquid.
Cooler device and methods for storing and cooling an electronic mobile device
A cooler device for receiving, storing, and cooling an electronic mobile device includes a housing defining an enclosed volume and including, a top, a bottom, a cradle, and air flow conduits. The cradle depends downwardly from the top to a base in the volume, has an opening at the top, and defines a storage compartment between the opening and the base and configured to receive the electronic mobile device therein through the opening. The air-flow conduits are coupled between the base of the cradle and the bottom of the housing and define air flow channels coupling the storage compartment at the base of the cradle to an ambient atmosphere outside the housing at the bottom of the housing in gaseous communication. The volume is filled with a refrigerant in direct contact against a volume-facing surface of the cradle and a continuous volume-facing surface of each of the air-flow conduits.
Portable Thermal Insulated Apparatus
A portable thermal insulated apparatus for cooling or heating items stored therein. The thermal insulated apparatus includes a container having a lid that removably secures to an open first end thereof and a reservoir unit that removably secures to an open second end. The container includes an inner tube and an outer tube forming an insulated double-wall sealed at both ends in which the lid and reservoir unit can be connected thereto. The reservoir unit removably receives a thermal unit that provides cooling or heating to the contents of the container when affixed thereto. The thermal unit is separable from the reservoir unit, such that the thermal units are interchangeable as needed. In some embodiments, the thermal unit is directly securable to the lid and the second end of the container is permanently sealed.
Insulated carrier for temperature-controlled items
The present application generally relates to devices and methods for transporting, delivering, and storing items, and it more specifically relates to insulated carriers for use in transporting, delivering, and storing temperature controlled items such as perishable food and beverage items. Embodiments provide for insulated containers having an interior cavity surrounded by one or more panels having insulation wherein the containers are collapsible to allow for the efficient storage and transport of the containers while empty.
