A refrigerator includes a storage compartment and an air sanitation device mounted on a top wall of the storage compartment. The air sanitation device includes: a housing having an upper wall, a lower wall, and a peripheral wall connecting the upper wall to the lower wall; an air channel disposed in the housing and has an air inlet and an air outlet; a fan disposed in the air channel to force air to enter the air channel from the air inlet and leave the air channel from the air outlet; and an air detection device and/or an air purification device disposed in the air channel. The air outlet is disposed on the peripheral wall, and the air channel is configured in such a way that the air is discharged out of the air outlet obliquely downward.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a storage compartment having a front opening and an air sanitation device mounted on a top wall of the storage compartment. The air sanitation device includes: a housing, an air channel located in the housing, a fan, and an air detection device and/or an air purification device located in the air channel. The housing includes a front wall facing the front opening, a rear wall, an upper wall, a lower wall, and a pair of side walls. The air channel includes an air inlet and an air outlet. The fan is configured to force air to enter the air channel from the air inlet, and then be discharged out from the air outlet. The air inlet is located on at least one of the side walls, and the air outlet is located on the rear wall.
AIR SANITATION DEVICE FOR REFRIGERATOR AND REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator has an air sanitation device. The air sanitation device includes: a housing; an air channel located in the housing and having an air inlet and an air outlet; a fan located in the air channel, to force air to enter the air channel from the air inlet, and then be discharged out of the air channel from the air outlet; and an air detection device and/or an air purification device located between the air inlet and an inlet of the fan.
AIR SANITATION DEVICE, ESPECIALLY FOR A REFRIGERATOR
An air sanitation device, especially for a refrigerator, includes a housing having a light outlet, an air channel located in the housing, an air detection device and/or an air purification device located in the air channel, an illumination device located in the housing to generate light adapted to pass through the light outlet, and a partition member separating the illumination device from the air channel. Air is adapted to flow along a first side of the partition member. The illumination device is located between a second side of the partition member and the light outlet.
REFRIGERATOR SYSTEM
A refrigerator includes a rear wall, a first strap, a second strap, an insulative member, a housing, an ozone generator, a ventilation panel, and a light. The first strap and the second strap fix the insulative member to the rear wall. The housing is disposed in the ventilation panel. A frontside of the housing has a recessed portion that defines a receptacle on a backside of the wall, a trough on the frontside of the wall, and a first number of vents. The first number of vents establish fluid communication between the receptacle and the trough. The ozone generator is disposed in the receptacle. The light is fixed to the housing. The light includes a cover that overlaps at least a portion of the trough and defines a second number of vents that are in fluid communication with the trough.
Multifunctional radio frequency systems and methods for UV sterilization, air purification, and defrost operations
Example systems have a defrost system that can receive a first RF signal at a first frequency to defrost a load. An air treatment device can receive a second RF signal at a second frequency and perform an air treatment process. An RF signal source has a power output, and a switching arrangement selectively electrically connects the defrost system and the first air treatment device to the power output of the RF signal source. A controller can electrically connect one of the defrost system and the first air treatment device to the power output of the RF signal source. When the defrost system is electrically connected, the RF signal source outputs the first RF signal at the first frequency, and when the first air treatment device is electrically connected, the RF signal source outputs the second RF signal at the second frequency.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet having a storage space, an evaporator provided at one side of the storage space, and a grill pan assembly forming an inner surface of the storage space, and including a fluid passage to guide cold air, which is generated from the evaporator, to the storage space, and a discharge port to discharge the cold air to the storage space. The fluid passage may include a first fluid passage to receive the cold air supplied from the evaporator, and a second fluid passage communicating with an outlet of the first fluid passage and split into a plurality of fluid passages. A deodorizing device is provided in the first fluid passage to remove odor, and the cold air passing through the first fluid passage is split at the second fluid passage after passing through the deodorizing device.
