ICE-MAKING COMPARTMENT FOR AN APPLIANCE
A refrigerator includes a cabinet and a refrigeration system having an evaporator. An ice-making compartment is positioned within the cabinet and includes a housing defining an inlet aperture on an upper portion of the housing and an outlet aperture. An ice storage bin is positioned in a lower portion of the housing. An ice tray is positioned above the ice storage bin. An inlet duct is in fluid communication with the inlet aperture and is configured to direct air into the housing from the evaporator. The inlet duct includes a first branch having a plurality of first branch channels to direct air to a plurality of first branch locations on a first surface of the ice tray. A second branch of the inlet duct directs air to a second surface of the ice tray. An outlet duct is in fluid communication with the outlet aperture and is configured to direct air from the housing to the evaporator.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes an evaporator arranged in a heat exchange chamber and having refrigerant pipes through which refrigerant flows and fins configured to guide heat exchange between the refrigerant and cold air, wherein the evaporator includes a first and a second side spaced apart from each other, and the fins of the evaporator guide flow of air such that the cold air introduce into the first and second sides is combined with each other in the space between the first and second sides.
Refrigerated, thermally insulated, collapsible cover system, assembly and method of using to transport perishable products
A reusable, substantially airtight, and insulated container system, assembly and method include detachable assembled top, side, and bottom panels to enclose a plurality of pallets of chilled, perishable products for transport. The top panel includes a plurality of pouches positioned within horizontal chambers within the inside top panel surface. Hook and loop closures secure and seal the panel assemblies. Thermoplastic polyurethane nylon fabric panel inner and outer surfaces are bonded to an internal insulation layer with thermal-welded edges. The system, assembly, and method include internal temperature control elements for a real time thermostatically controlled container environment protecting chilled products housed within the cover assembly during transport. An embodiment of the cover assembly is configured to a standard LD-7 air transport container base pallet, providing a thermostatically controlled container environment of approximately 745 cubic feet. The assembled top, side, and bottom panels are collapsible for easy storage and transport when not in use.
Ice-making compartment for an appliance
An appliance ice-making compartment includes a housing which defines an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture. A first ice tray is disposed at a first height within the housing. A second ice tray is disposed at a second height within the housing where the first height is closer to a top of the housing compared to the second height. The second ice tray is closer to the inlet aperture compared to the first ice tray. An inlet duct is in fluid communication with the inlet aperture and configured to direct air toward the first ice tray and the second ice tray.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator to be installed in a storage space defined by a wall of an object includes a contact mechanism so that the refrigerator makes contact with the wall, and thus the refrigerator can be installed.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a heat exchange chamber, first inlets arranged on side surfaces of a first storage chamber and configured to introduce cold air in the first storage chamber into the heat exchange chamber, and second inlets arranged on side surfaces of a second storage chamber and configured to introduce cold air in the second storage chamber into the heat exchange chamber.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes an inner case defining a storage chamber, a door disposed at a front portion of the inner case and defining a storage space therein, a cool air distribution device disposed inside the inner case and defining a box inlet portion configured to receive cool air, a multi-duct disposed in the inner case and defining discharge holes configured to discharge a first portion of cool air in the cool air distribution device to the storage chamber, and a duct assembly that extends from the cool air distribution device toward the door and that is configured to carry a second portion of cool air in the cool air distribution device. The inner case defines a case inlet at the front portion of the inner case, and the case inlet is configured to communicate with the duct assembly and supply the second portion of cool air to the storage chamber.
