Insulated ice compartment for bottom mount refrigerator with controlled damper
A refrigerator includes a refrigerator cabinet, a fresh food compartment disposed within the cabinet, a freezer compartment disposed within the cabinet, an ice compartment disposed within the cabinet, and an electronic control system associated with the refrigerator and adapted to monitor and control the fresh food compartment, the freezer compartment and the ice compartment. The control system provides for energy efficient control and operation through various means, including by monitoring state of an ice maker associated with the ice compartment and controlling temperature within compartments of the refrigerator based on the ice maker state. A damper controls air flow between the fresh food and freezer compartments. The control system can direct heat to the damper if the damper becomes frozen.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator may include a cabinet having a freezer compartment. An evaporator supplies cold air to the freezer compartment and an evaporator cover covers the evaporator. The evaporator cover has a supercooling passage for flowing some of cold air that has exchanged heat through the evaporator to a supercooling compartment of the freezer compartment. A cold air duct directs the other of the cold air that has exchanged heat through the evaporator to a top storage space over the supercooling compartment. A cold air guide device guides cold air in the cold air duct to a bottom storage space under the supercooling compartment.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes evaporator cases arranged in a freezing chamber and located on a bottom surface of a partition wall, an evaporator installed inside the evaporator cases, and grill covers arranged on a rear side of the evaporator cases and having a blowing fan installed therein. The refrigerator includes a refrigerating chamber discharge passage which extends from the grill covers to a refrigerating chamber and through which at least a portion of cold air passing through the blowing fan flows, and a freezing chamber discharge passage which extends from the grill covers to the freezing chamber and through which the remaining cold air among the cold air passing through the blowing fan passes.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a body, a freezing compartment, a plurality of refrigerating compartments adjacent to the freezing compartment in a horizontal direction and including a first refrigerating compartment and a second refrigerating compartment, a freezing compartment cooling space arranged behind the freezing compartment to communicate with the freezing compartment, a freezing compartment partition configured to partition the freezing compartment and the freezing compartment cooling space and including a freezing compartment duct, an evaporator configured to generate cooling air, a first duct configured to supply the cooling air to the first refrigerating compartment and including a first cooling air inlet, and a second duct configured to supply the cooling air to the second refrigerating compartment through a second cooling air inlet formed on one wall of the freezing compartment duct. The first cooling air inlet and the second cooling air inlet are arranged above the evaporator.
The invention provides a refrigerator, comprising a top air passage provided at a top wall of the storage compartment and connected with the refrigeration air passage to receive refrigeration air therefrom; an air guiding pipe comprising an air inlet end connected with the top air passage, an air outlet end for supplying air to the storage compartment, and an air outlet opening downwards; and a first air supply device configured to cause air flow to enter the air guiding pipe via the top air passage, such that the refrigeration air flowing into the top air passage from the refrigeration air passage is blown downwards in a concentrated manner via the air guiding pipe.
Blower and refrigerator having the same
A blower having improved efficiency by minimizing a distance between an end of a blade and a cold air suction hole, and a refrigerator including the blower includes a body having a storage compartment including a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment, an evaporator provided behind the storage compartment and configured to generate cold air, and the blower configured to supply the cold air generated by the evaporator into the freezer compartment, wherein the blower includes a suction member having a cold air suction hole and a fan unit configured to supply cold air introduced through the cold air suction hole into the freezer compartment, and having an interference prevention portion separated from the suction member to prevent interference with the suction member, and a water repellent portion treated with a water repellent is provided on a surface of the suction member adjacent to the interference prevention portion.
REFRIGERATOR WITH DOOR-MOUNTED FLUID DISPENSER
A refrigerator combines an externally-accessible door-mounted fluid or water dispenser outlet with an externally-accessible case-mounted ice dispenser outlet and/or an externally-accessible case-mounted fluid dispenser control.
REFRIGERATOR FAN DEVICE AND ULTRA-LOW TEMPERATURE FREEZER
A refrigerator fan device, comprising: a fan motor (10) which has a fan rotor (12) and which can be provided in an air duct between an air inlet (16), a refrigerator heat exchanger (15), and/or a refrigerator compressor (14) and an air outlet (18) on or in a refrigerator housing (20, 22), said fan motor (10) being connectable to a unit of the refrigerator, via electrical supply and/or control lines, wherein the fan motor (10) is realized as a brushless speed-controllable DC motor whose operating speed is or can be controlled as a function of an operating and/or used cooling space temperature signal of, the assigned or assignable refrigerator compressor.
DIGITAL SMART REAL SHOWCASE WARNING SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A digital smart real showcase warning system (100) comprises a showcase (110), a freezing machine (20), a showcase control unit (18), and a portable device (70), wherein a control unit (81) of the showcase control unit (18) inputs a temperature of the showcase (110) over time, and determines that a freezing function for the showcase (110) is failing based on the inputted temperature, the control unit (81) calculates an expected date and time of an increase to a warning temperature (an increase in temperature of a product in the showcase (110) to a predetermined temperature so high as to be unsuitable for refrigerating and freezing), and the control unit (81) causes a notifying means (87) to warning-display the expected date and time and to transmit warning information to the portable device (70), whereby the occurrence of a product loss can be prevented.
