A refrigerator and a cold air flow rate monitoring system for the refrigerator, the refrigerator including a main body having a refrigerating chamber therein, a cold air passage duct disposed within the main body and provided with a cold air passage therein, a control case coupled to the cold air passage duct and provided with a cold air discharge opening, a knob installed on the control case and opening and closing at least part of the cold air discharge opening in a manner of reciprocally moving in one direction, and a sensing unit provided with a conductive member mounted on the knob and a circuit portion provided on the control case, and configured to sense relative position of the knob with respect to the control case to acquire information related to an opening and closing amount of the cold air discharge opening.

Wall covering assembly with ventilation pattern and air curtain system

A refrigerator includes a wall covering assembly having a top wall spaced-apart from a top wall of a liner, and a rear wall spaced-apart from a rear wall of the liner. The wall covering assembly includes a pattern of ports for providing outwardly directed cooled air to the refrigerator cabinet from a duct assembly. The duct assembly is configured to deliver cooled air through the ventilated portion of the wall covering assembly and also deliver cooled air to a front portion of the refrigerator cabinet via a downwardly directed air curtain. The air curtain disrupts the outward flow of air from the ventilated portion of the wall covering assembly before the cooled air reaches a gasket assembly disposed around the refrigerator doors. Angled venting slots disposed on the wall covering assembly direct air towards inner surfaces of the doors without disruption from the air curtain.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator includes a cabinet including a storage compartment, a storage compartment door to open or close the storage compartment, a cool air duct provided in the storage compartment and positioned at an upper portion of the storage compartment to discharge cool air to the storage compartment, a damper to adjust an amount of cool air introduced into the cool air duct, and a door discharge duct communicating with the cool air duct and extending in a front-rear direction toward the storage compartment door to discharge cool air received from the cool air duct to the storage compartment door.

Air duct assembly and refrigerator

The present disclosure provides an air duct assembly of a refrigerator, comprising: a main body, the main body being provided with an air inlet toward one side of the main body, a plurality of air outlets formed in areas of two sides of the main body, and an air-uniformizing partition plate provided on the main body and located above the air inlet, and the air-uniformizing partition plate divides the air entered from the air inlet into the areas of two sides of the main body and the air is discharged via the plurality of air outlets.
