A refrigerator may include a storage part including a compressor and an evaporator and configured to store a food item at a low temperature using air cooled by the evaporator. The refrigerator may also include an ice making compartment configured to make or store ice using air cooled by the evaporator, and a fan for making ice allowing air cooled by the evaporator to flow to the ice making compartment. Additionally, a rotation speed of the fan for making ice changes while the fan for making ice continues to operate during operation of the compressor.

A light source module including a light source substrate and an ultraviolet (UV) light source is disposed on a first surface of the light source substrate, wherein the light source module is configured to emit light toward the photocatalyst bar. In order to improve the efficiency of solidification and melting of a heat storage material in a heat storage material unit, a heat storage material covered with a coating material is accommodated in a metal accommodating container having a high thermal conductivity, and the heat storage material unit is embedded in a thermal insulation panel in such a way that the accommodating container is exposed inside a merchandise accommodating compartment, thereby enabling a surface of the heat storage material that is embedded in the thermal insulation panel also to exhibit an action equivalent to that if the accommodating container is exposed in the merchandise accommodating compartment as a heat transfer element, thereby improving the efficiency of solidification (heat storage) and melting (heat dissipation) of the heat storage material.

A refrigerator, comprising: a refrigerator body, an air duct assembly and a branched air supply apparatus; the air duct assembly has an accommodating cavity, air passages, and air supply ports opening forward; the air passages comprise a first air passage and a plurality of second air passages; the branched air supply apparatus is installed in the accommodating cavity and has a peripheral wall portion; the peripheral wall portion defines a plurality of air outlets, the plurality of air outlets comprising a first air outlet and a plurality of second air outlets; the first air passage is communicated with the first air outlet and a first storage space; each second air passage is communicated with one second air outlet and one or more air supply ports, and each of the second air outlets communicates with at least one second air passage.
Refrigeration device comprising a fan with an heat-conducting element
A refrigeration device has a refrigerant circuit for cooling a cooling chamber. An air channel conducts air to the cooling chamber. A fan is positioned in an evaporator area and supplies air from the evaporator area through the air channel to the cooling chamber; an evaporator of the refrigerant circuit cools air during a cooling cycle. The evaporator is positioned in front of the fan in relation to the direction of flow. An heating element is positioned in the evaporator area and heats the evaporator during a defrost cycle to melt surface ice accumulated on the evaporator. The heating element heats the evaporator and a first area of the fan during the defrost cycle. The fan has a heat-conducting element extending from the first area to a second area, and transfers heat from the first to the second area to melt surface ice accumulated thereon during the defrost cycle.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator comprising a refrigerator body provided with a refrigerating compartment, an ice maker, an ice-making air duct, a first fan assembly disposed in the ice-making air duct and an ice maker evaporator is disclosed. The ice-making air duct comprises an air inlet duct and an air return duct, which are both disposed in a foaming layer of the refrigerating compartment, and one ends thereof close to the ice maker extend into a foaming layer on a door body of the ice maker. The first fan assembly is detachably disposed in the air return duct, and may be integrally disassembled from and installed in the air return duct. The ice maker evaporator is disposed between the air inlet duct and the air return duct and at the side far away from the ice maker.

A fan plenum assembly for a merchandiser. The fan plenum assembly includes a plenum housing that defines an opening configured to receive a fan, and that has a side wall with a slot and a slot extension continuous with the slot. The slot has a major axis extending through a center of the slot. A bearing is configured to rotationally support a hinge pin and is coupled to the side wall. The bearing includes a positioning element that is disposed in the slot and in the slot extension. The positioning element is movable within the slot and the slot extension such that the bearing is movable along the major axis to permit axial adjustment of a position of the bearing relative to the plenum housing and the bearing is immovable rotationally relative to the plenum housing.
