Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a lowermost storage liner, an evaporator, an air supply duct, and at least one air supply fan. A storage compartment and a cooling chamber positioned under the storage compartment are defined in the storage liner. The evaporator is disposed in the cooling chamber and is configured to cool air passing through the evaporator so as to form cooling air supplied to the storage compartment. The air supply duct is disposed in a space defined by the storage liner and is configured to convey the cooling air cooled by the evaporator to the storage compartment. The air supply fan is disposed in the air supply duct and is configured to promote air circulation between the cooling chamber and the storage compartment.
REFRIGERATED COMPARTMENT AIR DISTRIBUTION ASSEMBLY
A refrigeration appliance is provided herein. The refrigeration appliance includes a wrapper forming an exterior of the refrigeration appliance and a refrigeration compartment liner and a freezer compartment liner within the wrapper. The wrapper, the refrigeration compartment liner, and the freezer compartment liner are in a spaced apart configuration forming a refrigeration compartment and a freezer compartment. A door is configured to provide access to and seal the freezer compartment. The door has a seal around a periphery thereof. A mullion is disposed between the refrigeration compartment liner and the freezer compartment liner. The mullion includes a forward portion extending towards the freezer compartment. The forward portion includes at least one air-deflection surface. A fan is operably coupled with an evaporator and is configured to direct cooled air within the freezer compartment. The fan is offset from the evaporator and configured to direct air at the air-deflection surface.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator of the present invention comprises: an evaporator; a shroud provided with a suction hole for sucking the air heat-exchanged with the evaporator; a fan motor unit provided to the shroud; a discharge panel provided with a discharge hole for discharging, to a storage chamber, the air flowing by the fan motor unit; and a door for opening and closing the storage chamber, wherein the shroud is provided with a fan motor unit provision part at the surface facing the discharge panel so as to provide the fan motor unit thereto, and the fan motor unit enables the air to flow at a position between the shroud and the discharge panel so as to minimize the passage resistance of the air, which is sucked through the suction hole, and minimize noise.
Refrigerated compartment air distribution assembly
A refrigeration appliance includes a freezer compartment liner that forms a freezer compartment and includes a plurality of walls exposed to an interior of the freezer compartment. The plurality of walls includes first and second sidewalls, a top wall, a bottom wall, and a back wall. Each of the first and second sidewalls includes an air-deflection surface. A refrigeration compartment liner forms a refrigeration compartment. A door is configured to provide access to the freezer compartment. A mullion is disposed between the refrigeration compartment liner and the freezer compartment liner. The mullion includes a forward portion that extends toward the freezer compartment. A fan is configured to direct cooled air along at least one of the plurality of walls of the freezer compartment liner. The fan is configured to direct air toward the air deflection surface.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a top cover which separates a storage liner on a bottommost portion into a storage space located on an upper portion and a cooling space located on a lower portion. At least one return air hood is arranged at a front end of the top cover, the cooling space is jointly defined by the return air hood, the top cover and a bottom wall of the storage liner, and an evaporator is arranged in the cooling space. The return air hood includes a return air frame located on a front side and a return air rear cover inserted into the return air frame from an open rear end of the return air frame. The return air rear cover is arranged to separate a first opening formed in a front wall face of the return air frame into a first front return air inlet located on an upper portion and a second front return air inlet located on a lower portion, so that the visual attractiveness is achieved, and the fingers of children or foreign matter can be effectively prevented from entering the cooling space. In addition, due to two return air areas distributed vertically, return air can flow through the evaporator more evenly after entering the cooling space, the problem that a front end face of the evaporator is prone to frosting can be avoided to a certain degree, the heat exchange efficiency can be improved, the defrosting period can be prolonged, and energy conservation and high efficiency are achieved.
Product merchandising systems and methods
A product merchandising system includes a housing having a top surface, two side surfaces spaced apart from one another defining a width-direction of the housing, and a front surface and rear surface spaced apart from one another defining a depth-direction of the housing. The system includes a product support system configured to support rows of products along a width of the housing, each row disposed at a position along the depth of the housing, the first row being towards the front surface of the housing. A cooling system includes a cooling system including a cooling heat exchanger generating an airflow, a deflector configured to direct the airflow through the cooling heat exchanger and towards a bottom of the housing, and a nozzle below the deflector and configured to direct the airflow towards a bottom of the housing through an outlet aperture and between a first two rows of products.
FAN ASSEMBLY
A fan assembly for a refrigerator interior includes a lower housing where a fan that rotates around a rotation axis as a center is installed, the rotation axis extending in an up-down direction; an upper housing that includes an inlet that sucks air from the refrigerator interior; and a side housing that covers a surrounding portion of the fan, wherein any one of the upper housing, the lower housing, and the side housing includes a flow straightening member that straightens a flow of air that is discharged from the fan, and wherein any one of the upper housing, the lower housing, and the side housing includes a discharge port.
Fan unit
A refrigeration device or appliance has a fan assembly which is mounted in a housing with a housing front side part and a housing rear side part, and the fan assembly is secured to the housing rear side part and is held in place by the housing front side part.
