TRANSPORT PODS
There is provided a thermally-insulated transport pod (100), transport locker pods (100), a locker system (200), a docking station (330), and a dockable pod system (200).
Medication carrying case
Disclosed is a medication carrying case having a modular interior and a deployable tray work surface. The case structure is provided in several different sizes and designs, whereby medication and other articles are supported by removably attached organizational leaflets attached along the interior surfaces of the case. Each leaflet comprises a number of different pouches or organizational elements for supporting medication and accessory items. The deployable tray attaches along the exterior of the case and provides a clean work surface for organizing and preparing medication prior to use. For temperature sensitive medication, a cooling chamber is provided within the leaflet and behind a pouch to cool the pouch contents. Furthermore, an internal temperature sensing means and a timer element is provided to monitor the interior environment of the case and provide a means of notification for the user for administration of medication, respectively.
CRYOGENIC CONTAINER
The invention relates to a cryogenic container for storing and/or transporting a medium, in particular a biochemical and/or medical product. The cryogenic container comprises at least one primary container, which has at least one flexible film bag. The flexible film bag is designed to receive the medium. The cryogenic container furthermore comprises at least one secondary container, which at least partially surrounds the primary container and is preferably at least partially flexible. The secondary container has at least one opening for insertion of the primary container. The secondary container furthermore has at least one preferably at least partially flexible outer sleeve. The secondary container furthermore has at least one heat exchanger space, which is arranged between the outer sleeve and the flexible film bag and receives at least one fluid heat exchange medium.
DEVICES FOR USE WITH REFRIGERATION DEVICES INCLUDING TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED CONTAINER SYSTEMS
A refrigeration device includes a thermal transfer unit with an evaporative region, an adiabatic region, and a condensing region with a reversible valve attached to the adiabatic region. The device includes a container sealed around PCM, with a set of refrigeration coils of a compressor unit in thermal contact with the PCM. A storage region is in thermal contact with the evaporative region of the thermal transfer unit. A controller is operably connected to the reversible valve and the refrigeration compressor unit. The storage region can be used to store cold packs within a predetermined temperature range for medical outreach.
Flexible cryogenic container system
Temperature-Regulated Transport Box
Provided is a compact lightweight transport box in which the internal temperature distribution is minimized and accurate temperature regulation can be performed. The transport box includes an insulating container, an internal heat conducting container mounted in the insulating container, and an insulating cover body with a cover internal side heat conducting plate exposed on an inner surface facing the opening part of the internal heat conducting container, in which, with the opening part of the insulating container closed by the insulating cover body, the cover internal side heat conducting plate is near an opening end of the internal heat conducting container.
Devices and methods for high-stability supercooling of aqueous media and biological matter
Supercooled water or solutions can be destabilized by the nucleation of ice. Constraining water in a constant-volume (isochoric) container minimizes destabilization through thermodynamic, kinetic, and fluid dynamic means, significantly enhancing supercooling stability. Methods and devices are used for stable and transportable supercooling of aqueous solutions or suspensions, and the stable and long-term preservation of biological matter that may be stored therein.
Cooling Mat Comprising Expandable Elements for Cooling a Body or Body Part for Medical or Performance-Enhancing Purposes (COOL APP)
Disclosed is a device for cooling a body or body part for medical or performance-enhancing purposes, said device consisting of one or more cooling elements (11), said cooling element (11) being provided with a cover (1) that is filled with meltable cooling solid (2). The disclosed device is characterized in that an additional apparatus for displacing the already melted portion (8) of the cooling solid (2) from the contact surface (7) to the body is provided inside the cover (1), the expandable member (4, 6) being preferably designed in the form of a filled member (4) of a spring element (6) or of a foamed article. Also disclosed is an additional device which is characterized in that a layer (16) of thermochromic material indicates when a threshold temperature is exceeded, said layer (16) being applied to the bottom side of the expandable member and thus being pressed against the remaining solid portion of the cooling solid, the cover (1) being transparent in this case.
Portable cooling unit and a portable storage unit
A portable cooling unit for cooling and insulating a vessel. The unit has a thermally insulating envelope that includes a breathable reflective layer, a breathable waterproof layer and an opening for accessing the vessel. A cooling envelope that is arranged to cool and house the thermally insulating envelope and the vessel. The cooling envelope has two water-permeable layers and an opening for accessing the vessel. The unit further has a housing envelope that is arranged to house the vessel, the cooling envelope and the thermally insulating envelope. The housing envelope includes an opening for accessing the vessel and a breathable water-permeable layer that allows moisture to cross the envelope. The two water-permeable layers of the cooling layer are arranged to bound an enclosure containing an absorbent and moisture-wicking material that is arranged to cool the vessel via evaporation of water.
