INTEGRATED MULTI-FUNCTIONAL PIPELINE SYSTEM FOR DELIVERY OF CHILLED MIXTURES OF NATURAL GAS AND CHILLED MIXTURES OF NATURAL GAS AND NGLS
Herein pipeline pressure, temperature and NGL constituents are manipulated for the transportation and optional storage in a pipeline system of natural gas mixtures or rich mixtures for delivery of chilled Products for downstream applications. Pressure reduction from a last compression section delivers internally chilled Products for reduced capital and operating costs. A high lift compressor station before the pipeline terminus provides pressure differential for Joule-Thompson chilling of the pipeline contents. The chilling step can be retrofitted to existing pipeline systems, and the chilling steep can include a turbo expander or the like for recovery of pipeline pressure energy for power generation. For like throughout, with this higher pressure operation, the effects of enhanced NGL content results in a reduction in diameter of the pipeline by at least one standard size. Substantial overall reduction in energy consumption and associated CO2 emissions is thereby achieved through integrated pipeline/processing applications.

A system for renewable energy storage, providing integral synthesis of heat source cryo-fuel and heat sink refrigerant for distributed electric generation and motor vehicle prime movers and refrigerant liquefiers. Fuel synthesis is by gasification and anaerobic digestion of organic feedstock with heat recovery to drive thermo-chemical reactor and air and fuel liquefiers.
METHOD FOR COOLING A HEAT EXCHANGER OF A GAS SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR A GAS-CONSUMING APPARATUS OF A SHIP
A method for supplying gas to a gas-consuming apparatus provided on a ship including a tank containing the gas in the liquid state and in the gaseous state, in which the method includes: supplying the gas-consuming apparatus with gas withdrawn in the gaseous state from the tank and by a supply unit; condensing at least a part of the gas withdrawn in the gaseous state from the tank by a condensation unit having at least one heat exchanger configured to perform a heat exchange between gas withdrawn between the supply unit and the gas-consuming apparatus and gas flowing between the tank and the supply unit; and cooling the heat exchanger prior to the condensing and at least partially simultaneously with the supplying.

The LNG plant may also include a stripper, an absorber, and a separator configured to separate the feed gas into a stripper liquid and an absorber vapor. The stripper liquid can be converted to an overhead stream used as a reflux stream to the absorber.
Hydrocarbon condensate stabilizer and a method for producing a stabilized hydrocarbon condensate stream
A mixed phase pressurized unstabilized hydrocarbon stream is fed into a stabilizer column at a feed pressure. A liquid phase of stabilized hydrocarbon condensate is discharged from a bottom end of the stabilizer column, while a vapor phase of volatile components from the pressurized unstabilized hydrocarbon condensate stream is discharged from a top end of the stabilizer column. The vapor phase being discharged from the top end of the stabilizer column is compressed and subsequently passed through an ambient heat exchanger wherein partial condensation takes place. The resulting partially condensed overhead stream is separated in an overhead separator into a vapor effluent stream and an overhead liquid stream. After discharging the overhead liquid stream from the overhead separator, it is selectively divided into a liquid reflux stream and a liquid effluent stream. The liquid reflux stream is expanded to the feed pressure and fed into the stabilizer column.
Hydrocarbon condensate stabilizer and a method for producing a stabilized hydrocarbon condenstate stream
A mixed phase unstabilized hydrocarbon stream is created by partially evaporating an unstabilized hydrocarbon condensate stream, including indirectly heat exchanging the unstabilized hydrocarbon condensate stream against an effluent stream in a feed-effluent heat exchanger. The mixed phase unstabilized hydrocarbon stream is fed into a stabilizer column. A liquid phase of stabilized hydrocarbon condensate is discharged from a bottom end, while an overhead vapor stream consisting of a vapor phase comprising volatile components from the unstabilized hydrocarbon condensate stream is discharged from a top end of the stabilizer column. The overhead vapor stream is passed through an overhead condenser. The resulting partially condensed overhead stream is separated in an overhead separator into a vapor effluent stream and an overhead liquid stream. The effluent stream against which the unstabilized hydrocarbon condensate stream is heat exchanged in the feed-effluent heat exchanger comprises the vapor effluent stream.

System and Method for Removing Freezing Components from a Feed Gas
A system for removing freezing components from a feed gas includes a heavy hydrocarbon removal heat exchanger and a scrub device. The scrub device includes a scrub column that receives a cooled feed gas stream from the heat exchanger and a reflux separation device. Vapor from the scrub column is directed to the heat exchanger and cooled to create a reflux stream that includes a liquid component. This reflux stream is directed to the reflux separation device and a resulting liquid component stream is used to reflux the column. Vapor from the reflux separation device is expanded and directed to the heat exchanger, where it provides refrigeration, and a processed feed gas line.

System and method for removing freezing components from a feed gas
A system for removing freezing components from a feed gas includes a heat exchanger, a scrub column and a return vapor expansion device. The heat exchanger includes a reflux cooling passage and a return vapor passage. Vapor from the scrub column is directed through the return vapor expansion device, where the temperature and pressure are lowered. The resulting cooled fluid then travels to the return vapor passage of the heat exchanger and is used to cool a vapor stream in the reflux cooling passage to create a reflux fluid stream that is directed to the scrub column.
