SYSTEMS FOR PROCESSING WASTE TO FORM USEABLE PRODUCTS AND METHODS THEREOF
The present invention discloses low cost, on-site, efficient, and compact (stationary or mobile) system for continuous (non-batch operation) conversion of waste to usable products such as sources of energy, fertilizer, etc.
PROCESS FOR LYOPHILISING A PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a process for lyophilising a product (3), comprising the steps of providing a bulk product (3) loading system in the form of a bag (1), the bag (1) having an interior and an exterior defined by a flexible wall, the bag (1) further comprising a filling port (5) providing access to the interior of the bag (1), filling a product (3) having a first moisture content into the interior of the bag (1) via the filling port (5), and exposing the product (3) in the interior of the bag (1) to a lyophilisation cycle such that the moisture content of the product (3) is reduced from the first moisture content to a second, lower, moisture content.

SYSTEM FOR MONITORING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS OF A TOBACCO CURING SITE
A system for monitoring environmental conditions of a tobacco curing site within which tobacco is cured is provided. A power supply of the system may include a supercapacitor configured to provide power, and a photovoltaic cell connected to and from which the supercapacitor may be chargeable. A temperature and humidity sensor may be positioned proximate the tobacco curing site and configured to measure a temperature or humidity within the tobacco curing site, and generate a signal corresponding to the temperature or humidity so measured. A local control unit may have a distal position relative the tobacco and be configured to receive the signal, and generate corresponding measurement data, and wirelessly transmit the corresponding measurement data to a remote control unit configured for display or analysis.

Coand{hacek over (a)}-effect vegetable material dryer
A cylindrical drum having a plurality of vanes which extend radially into the drum and extend axially substantially the length of the drum rotates about its axis such that the plurality of vanes convey vegetable material from a lowest point in the interior of the drum to a highest point in the interior of the drum, there, to drop the vegetable matter downward within the interior of the drum. A plenum feeds air through a nozzle opening in a rectangular slot extending in its longest dimension substantially the length of the drum. The plenum and nozzle being housed to form a Coand{hacek over (a)}-effect nozzle body having a tear-shaped housing. Two Coand{hacek over (a)} surfaces are situated in opposed relation terminating at the nozzle. The Coand{hacek over (a)} surfaces to guide air into a combined flow. A hopper plate cooperates with the housing to form a hopper directing vegetable matter to collide with the combined flow.
Method of carbon sequestering
A method of sequestering carbon captured from the atmosphere by plants (biomass) waste material includes segregating incoming waste material that includes biomass into high-moisture incoming waste material and low-moisture incoming waste material. The low-moisture incoming waste material is that which has a moisture content less than or equal to the moisture content threshold, for example, paper, cardboard, and sawdust. The low-moisture incoming waste material is stored in a dry containment area, thereby emissions of carbon dioxide or methane from the low-moisture incoming waste material is reduced as moisture is required by such material to decompose.
