Roller for a roller hearth furnace
A roller for a roller hearth furnace, the roller including a water-cooled, rotatably mounted carrying axle on which a plurality of support rings are arranged at a spacing from one another. In the axial region between and next to the support rings, the carrying axle is provided with insulation composed of a fiber material and configured with protection of the outer circumference of the fiber material from the environment. In the case of insulation constructed from ring-shaped punched parts, the insulation arranged in the axial region between and next to the support rings is composed of circular or ring-shaped punched fiber parts. The protection is configured as ring-shaped insulating disks composed of a more resistant material than that of the punched fiber parts, and at least one punched fiber part is provided in each case between two insulating disks.
Base material for disk roll, production method thereof, disk roll and production method thereof
A base material for a disk roll containing a layered silicate, in which the layered silicate is constituted to contain two or more kinds of minerals having an interlayer distance exceeding 10 angstroms. A base material for a disk roll is excellent in the compressive strength and wear resistance thereby.

CONTINUOUS WORKING SYSTEM WITH HANGING CONVEYER
A working system includes two or more container which are manufactured separately and previously and then moved to the factories or working plants, and then assembled into the continuous working system in the factories or working plants, for allowing the working system to be easily manufactured and assembled and moved or transported to the required places or positions. The containers each include one or more working zones and an aisle for entering into the working zones selectively. Two of the containers are arranged opposite to each other and parallel to each other, and the other containers are arranged opposite to and parallel to each other and disposed between the other two containers.
Roll comprising an abradable coating
A protective and abradable coating composition is suitable for application on rolls and more particularly for application on conveyor rolls. The abradable coating is suitable for use in high temperature applications. Rolls incorporating the coating may be produced and used according to disclosed processes and procedures. Application of the composition to rolls reduces corrosion by aluminium melt, and enables the removal of built-up substances by friction. The life time of the roll is thereby increased.
Method for sintering carbon bodies in a furnace
The invention relates to a method for sintering carbon bodies (16) in a furnace comprising at least a first furnace chamber (11) for receiving the carbon bodies, which are accommodated in a packing material (23), the carbon bodies being arranged between lateral chamber walls (12, 13, 21) of the furnace chamber, and the furnace chamber serving to form a preheating zone V, a heating zone H provided with a heating device, and a cooling zone A, wherein a packing material (23) made, at least in part, of a highly heat-conductive material is used.

Method and system for treating a product
A vessel having an opening for receiving the product and walls surrounding the vessel at all sides except the opening. The interior of the vessel is filled with a fluid having a specific gravity lower than a specific gravity of a medium surrounding the walls outside the vessel. While the vessel is oriented with the opening facing downwards, the vessel and/or product is/are conveyed to ensure that the product enters the interior through the opening.

GLASS HEATING FURNACE
A glass heating furnace is illustrated. Rollers of the glass heating furnace are pivotally connected to a movable frame, and a roller driver of the glass heating furnace controls the rollers to rotate to a direction of an X axis, and a movable frame driver controls the movable frame to displace reciprocatively along a Y axis, such that the rollers displace along the Y axis at the same time. The glass displaces reciprocatively in multiple directions to be heated up more uniformly, which effectively reduces formation of the thermal stress marks on the glass. Since the rollers displace along the Y axis at the same time, the glass on the rollers does not have the displacement of the Y axis in respect to the rollers, such that friction of the displacement of the glass is reduced, which more effectively reduces formation of the thermal stress marks on the glass.
