The cooler may be adapted for use with an agricultural pumper truck.
Tube Bank Heat Exchanger
A heat exchanger has: a first manifold assembly having a stack of plates; a second manifold assembly having a stack of plates; and a plurality of tubes extending from the first manifold assembly to the second manifold assembly. The plurality of tubes is a plurality groups of tubes. For each of the groups of the tubes: the tubes of the group have first ends mounted between plates of the first manifold assembly; and the tubes of the group have second ends mounted between plates of the second manifold assembly.
WATER-COOLING HEAT DISSIPATION DEVICE
A water-cooling heat dissipation device includes a water-cooling radiator. The water-cooling radiator includes a radiating pipe unit, a water outlet reservoir, and a water inlet reservoir. The water-cooling radiator is provided with a first water pump and a second water pump. Each water pump is configured to pump cold water in a corresponding water outlet chamber to a corresponding water-cooling block to exchange heat and become hot water, hot water flows back to a corresponding water inlet chamber and flows into the corresponding radiating pipe unit to be cooled by radiating fins, and then cold water flows into the corresponding water outlet chamber.
Autoclave system and method
An autoclave system comprises an autoclave vessel 210, for performing a leaching operation on sacrificial ceramic cores (not shown) and a storage vessel 220 for containing caustic leaching fluid 230. Interposed in a fluid flow path between the vessel 210 and the tank 220 is a heat exchange unit 240, comprising a body 250 containing a thermal exchange medium, in the form of water 260, and first and second thermal exchange conduits represented at 270 and 280. A thermal exchange medium inlet pipe 290a and a thermal exchange medium outlet pipe 290b are provided to the body so that the medium 260 can be replenished, preferably substantially continuously, to optimize thermal transfer efficiency.
Fan array fault response control system
In one aspect, a fan array fault response control system is provided for a cooling tower. The fan array fault response control system includes a fan interface configured to be in communication with a plurality of fans of the cooling tower and a processor operably coupled to the fan interface. The processor is configured to detect at least one non-operational fan of the plurality of fans. The processor configured to effect, in response to detecting the at least one non-operational fan, a reduced fan speed of at least one operational fan of the plurality of fans.
SYSTEM FOR A SURFACE COOLER WITH OGV ORIENTED FIN ANGLES
The heat exchanger assembly includes a first conduit, an external surface, and a set of fins. The first conduit includes a first inlet, a first outlet, and a first internal flow path extending between the first inlet and first outlet. The first conduit is configured to channel a flow of fluid to be cooled from the first inlet to the first outlet. The external surface which includes a plurality of regions. Each region of the plurality of regions includes a respective set of fins extending from the external surface. Each set of fins of a respective region of the plurality of regions are oriented in a different direction than sets of fins of other regions of the plurality of regions.
Heat exchanger having first and second heat exchange units with different refrigerant flow resistances and refrigeration apparatus
To improve the heat exchange efficiency of a heat exchanger that includes an upstream heat exchange unit and a downstream heat exchange unit. When the heat exchanger functions as an evaporator, a gas outlet pipe is an upstream refrigerant outlet that is located adjacent to the other end of upstream flat pipes of the upstream heat exchange unit, and a gas outlet pipe is a downstream refrigerant outlet that is located adjacent to the other end of downstream flat pipes of the downstream heat exchange unit. First resistance to refrigerant flow in the upstream heat exchange unit and second resistance to refrigerant flow in the downstream heat exchange unit are adjusted in order that the degree of superheating of refrigerant at the downstream refrigerant outlet is smaller than the degree of superheating of refrigerant at the upstream refrigerant outlet.
THERMAL CONTROL WITHIN AN ENCLOSURE WITH CIRCULAR CROSS-SECTION
A thermal control system includes an enclosure configured to contain a thermal mass. A baffle plate is disposed in the enclosure. A heat exchanger is coextensive with and cooperates with the baffle plate to divide the enclosure into a first chamber and a second chamber. An air circulation element cooperates with the baffle plate and the heat exchanger to define an air circulation path and to cause air to flow through the air circulation path. The heat exchanger exchanges thermal energy with the air flowing through the air circulation path.
Integrated fan drive system for air-cooled heat exchangers (ACHE)
An air-cooled heat exchanger (ACHE) for cooling process fluids used in an industrial process. In one embodiment, the ACHE is configured as a forced-draft ACHE. A support structure supports the forced draft ACHE above grade. A tube bundle is supported by the structure and is configured to receive process fluids used in an industrial process. A plenum is connected to the support structure, positioned beneath the tube bundle and configured to direct air-flow through the tube bundle. A fan is supported by the support structure and positioned beneath the plenum. Rotation of the fan produces an air-flow that is directed through the tube bundle by the plenum. A fan drive system is supported by the support structure, positioned beneath the fan and comprises a permanent magnet motor comprising a motor casing, a stator and a rotatable shaft, the rotatable shaft being connected to the fan.
