HEAT EXCHANGER
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising: a core having a plurality of concentric channels extending along a central axis, the plurality of channels being concentric about the central axis and including: a first set of concentric channels through which a first fluid can pass; and a second set of concentric channels through which a second fluid can pass, to exchange heat with the first fluid passing through the first set of concentric channels, the concentric channels being alternatingly arranged, from the central axis, between a channel of the first set of concentric channels and a channel of the second set of concentric channels.
HEAT EXCHANGER WITH STIFFENING TUBE CONNECTORS
A heat exchanger having: an upstream header; a downstream header; a core extending from an upstream end at the upstream header to a downstream end at the downstream header, wherein the core includes tubes arranged in a square matrix that defines rows of tubes arranged in a row direction and columns of the tubes arranged in a column direction that is normal to the row direction, each of the tubes defining an upstream end and a downstream end that are spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction, and an outer boundary of the core is defined by outer ones of the tubes, wherein each of the tubes is longitudinally divided into tube segments; and tube connectors extending between the tube segments and interconnecting longitudinally and diagonally adjacent ones of the tube segments to stiffen the core.
Heat exchanger for a cooling system, cooling system, and assembly
The invention provides a heat exchanger for a cooling system of a motor vehicle, in particular a motorcycle. The heat exchanger includes a housing, a supply connection via which a fluid can be supplied to the heat exchanger, a return connection via which the cooled fluid can be discharged from the heat exchanger, and a heat exchange region in which the fluid interacts with a medium in order to be cooled. The fluid dispenses thermal energy to the medium. The supply connection and the return connection are arranged on a common connection side of the housing. The heat exchange region includes multiple heat exchanger tubes through which the fluid flows from the connection side to a side opposite the connection side. A singular discharge tube runs from the opposite side to the return connection. The invention further provides a cooling system and an assembly.
HEAT EXCHANGER, AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEM
A heat exchanger, an air conditioning system with the heat exchanger, and a heat exchange system with the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a first heat exchanger core and a second heat exchanger core arranged side by side. The first heat exchanger core includes a first main segment, a first connection segment connected with the first main segment, and a first header. The first main segment includes a plurality of first heat exchange tubes arranged in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The second heat exchanger core includes a second main segment, a second connection segment connected with the second main segment, and a second header. The second main segment includes a plurality of second heat exchange tubes arranged in the second direction. The first main segment includes a first wind resistance region and a second wind resistance region arranged in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, the second wind resistance region being adjacent to the first header, and a wind resistance of the second wind resistance region is smaller than that of the first wind resistance region, thereby improving the performance of the heat exchanger, the air conditioning system, and the heat exchange system.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger is provided and includes a core that has numerous tubes through which a first fluid flows and around which a second fluid flows, and a reservoir that has a body with at least one chamber through which a first fluid can flow, and a base that protrudes outward from the body at the side facing the core and at least partially encircles a hole opening into the chamber. The core has a closure plate attached to the reservoir for closing the hole therein. The plate has a bottom that the reservoir bears on, through which ends of the tubes opening into the chamber pass, and numerous retaining elements, which bear on the upper surface of the base facing away from the core.
The durability of the heat exchanger can be improved in that a stop for at least one retaining element is formed on the upper surface of the base of the reservoir, which protrudes from this upper surface on a side of the retaining element facing away from the body of the reservoir.
Modular heat exchanger systems
A heat exchanger system and method includes a securing frame, a heat transfer core having heat transfer panels removably secured to the securing frame, the heat transfer panels optionally including a plurality of segment modules coupled together, and one or more filter screens removably secured to the securing frame at one or both of an inlet end or an outlet end. The heat transfer core is disposed between the inlet end and the outlet end.
