FLUID REACTOR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A FLUID REACTOR DEVICE
A fluid reactor device, in particular a fluid purification device, is provided. The fluid reactor device includes a heat-transfer bed including heat storage material. The heat storage material is configured to heat fluid flowing through the heat storage material such that the fluid heats up and reacts while flowing through the heat storage material. Further, the fluid reactor device includes a first plenum fluidly coupled to a first opening of the heat-transfer bed, and a second plenum fluidly coupled to a second opening of the heat-transfer bed. Additionally, the fluid reactor device includes a heat blocking element arranged in the first plenum. The heat blocking element is spaced apart from the heat-transfer bed and is spaced apart from a housing of the first plenum. The heat blocking element extends beyond the first opening and is configured to limit heat emission from the heat storage material into the first plenum.
Molten eutectic salts thermal energy storage (MESTES) system
The various embodiments described herein include devices and systems for thermal energy storage. A single-temperature-thermal-energy storage (SITTES) system for desalinating seawater and/or producing electrical power is described. The SITTES system includes insulated tanks, a molten eutectic salt media arranged within the insulated tanks, heat exchangers arranged within the insulated tanks, and an outlet. In the SITTES system the heat exchangers are coupled to one another and configured to transfer heat between the salt media and a seawater media, and the outlet is configured to output a steam portion of the seawater media, thereby providing desalination of the portion of the seawater media and steam for electrical power generation.
Hot water supply tank
The present invention relates to a hot water supply tank. A hot water supply tank, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a storage part which accommodates a fluid therein; an internal water outlet pipe through which a fluid flows from the storage part toward a heat pump; an internal water supply pipe through which the fluid flows from the heat pump toward the storage part; and an internal pipe which is disposed inside the storage part, wherein the internal pipe includes: a connection pipe which is connected to the internal water supply pipe, and at least a part of which is flexible; and a discharge pipe which has one end connected to the connection pipe and extending long, wherein a pipe through hole passing through the discharge pipe may be formed at the other end of the discharge pipe. Various other embodiments are possible.
Flow rate adjustment device
A flow rate adjustment device includes: an adjustment unit including a pipe and a sealing plate provided below an outlet of the pipe, the sealing plate having a sealing surface; and a moving unit that moves the sealing plate to a sealing position where the sealing surface of the sealing plate is positioned vertically below the outlet of the pipe and a retraction position where the sealing surface of the sealing plate is retracted from a point vertically below the outlet of the pipe.

A system includes a pressure exchanger (PX) configured to receive a first fluid at a first pressure and a second fluid at a second pressure and exchange pressure between the first fluid and the second fluid. The system further includes a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger. The system further includes a compressor. The system further includes an electrical energy generation device. The system further includes a first valve. The system further includes a processing device operatively coupled to the first valve. The processing device is configured to provide a control signal to the first valve to cause the system to be operated in a first mode or a second mode.
