Method for extracting coffee

According to the present disclosure, when drip coffee is extracted, it may learn drip coffee recipe information of a barista to be imitated and extract the drip coffee based on the learned reference acidity and reference concentration. The extracted drip coffee may be compared with the learned reference acidity and the reference concentration and evaluated, and when the acidity and concentration of the drip coffee are matched with the reference acidity and the reference concentration, the drip coffee having the same acidity and concentration as the drip coffee may be extracted. Alternatively, when the acidity and concentration of the drip coffee are not matched with the reference acidity and the reference concentration, drip coffee having the same or/and similar acidity and concentration as or/and to the reference acidity and the reference concentration may be extracted by changing extraction conditions of the drip coffee through reinforcement learning.

Scoop and Level

A scoop and level for scooping a portion of granulated material and leveling the contents of the scoop. The scoop may have a volume suitable for brewing a single serving of brewed beverage, and in particular, for brewing a single serving of espresso. The lever is attached to the scoop and slides over the scoop to displace excess material, thus providing a desired amount material for precessing, for example, for preparing a beverage. A scoop handle may further include a tamper opposite to the scoop. The tamper may be used to tamp brewing material after scooping, leveling, and pouring the brewing material into a holder.

The pour-over beverage system includes a double walled vacuum sealed cup feature or pour-over reservoir for holding a steeped beverage and a flow control mechanism or flow control insert attached to a bottom portion of the double walled vacuum sealed cup feature or pour-over reservoir for dispensed the steeped beverage. The system also preferably includes a double walled vacuum sealed capturing vessel or capturing reservoir for capturing the steeped beverage dispensed through the control mechanism or flow control insert.

Method for making and dispensing coffee-based beverages

A method for making and dispensing coffee-based beverages in machines includes increasing the water temperature inside a boiler and assembly to achieve preheating with to adjust the delivered thermal power. The method includes three dispensing steps. Preheated water at a selected temperature achieves a pre-infusion in a preset time or water volume without pressure in the hydraulic pump, wherein the coffee powder is only wet. Next, the coffee powder is infused by means of the use of a logic unit that manages the volume of dispensed water by a volumetric meter and at a preset, constant pressure as a function of the ground coffee and dispensed product weight. An amount by volume of water is dispensed and calculated to achieve a selected and preset brew ratio. Finally, post-infusion is achieved in which the hydraulic pump is deactivated for a time needed to reach by weight the programmed dose of dispensed product.

Capsule-based food preparation system

A food preparation system includes a food preparation machine with a receptacle for a food capsule and a fluid injecting member, and the food capsule including a capsule body, a cavity, a first end, an opening communicating with the cavity, a second end including at least one outlet communicating with the cavity, an injection wall, and at least one partition dividing the cavity into chambers containing a respective quantity of an alimentary substance and having at least one outlet with an independently-operable closure member in the second end. The injection means injects a quantity of fluid into the capsule through a single injection point, and a sealing member selectively blocks fluid communication between the chambers, resisting a pressure difference between the chambers of between 2 and 20 bar, preferably between 4 and 15 bar.

Machine and method for preparing a drink

The invention relates to a system for a drinks extraction machine using capsules introduced into a capsule cage, said system having slides allowing a capsule to be guided into the machine, held and then released in order to move into an extraction position, said cage being moved between a retracted position allowing the insertion of a capsule into the machine, and a position for the extraction of the drink wherein the capsule is held in the cage against an extraction plate, said slides being moved by actuating means in a coordinated manner with the cage, but with a delay, in such a way as to release the capsule introduced into the machine for the insertion thereof into the cage when said cage moves back into the extraction position thereof, and only to go back to the initial position once the used capsule has been extracted from the cage.
