The fin has slits arranged at a distance from the openings and configured to follow an edge profile of a honeycomb-shaped hexagon, with the slits of each hexagon surrounding a corresponding one of the openings at the distance. Arranged between adjacent ones of the openings is a corresponding one of the slits at a same distance from each of the adjacent openings, with each slit having an end ending at a deformation point of the fin.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger, for example a charge-air cooler, may include at least two bases respectively having a passage for receiving a plurality of fluid-conducting tubes on a longitudinal end side. The heat exchanger may include at least one collecting chamber arranged on at least one of the at least two bases, and at least one lateral part received via a longitudinal end area at least partially in an end-side passage of an associated base of the at least two bases. The longitudinal end area of the at least one lateral part may have a beam shape and at least one recess. The longitudinal end area of the at least one lateral part may further have a cross-sectional surface that is smaller than a cross-sectional surface of the end-side passage of the associated base.
Heat exchanger and sheet for the exchanger
The invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising a casing (2) inside which is housed, and fastened by brazing, a heat exchange assembly (3) comprising a stack of heat exchange plates, each plate (4) having at least one edge (14) for brazing to the casing (2). The heat exchanger is characterized by the fact that it includes means, called unfastening means (20, 21, 22, 23), designed to prevent the casing from being brazed to at least a portion of the edge (14) of at least one end plate (4E) of the stack (3). By virtue of the invention, the heat exchanger is more flexible and absorbs thermal stresses better.
HEADER PLATE FOR A HEAT EXCHANGER, HEADER BOX AND HEAT EXCHANGER
Header plate for a heat exchanger, comprising a wall (3) provided with orifices (7), and through which tubes (1) arranged in rows in a longitudinal direction (L) are intended to pass, characterized in that: said wall has (3), in cross section, a profile made up of a central portion (13) and of two lateral portions (15), the lateral portions (15) overall follow a first curve with a first radius of curvature (R1), the central portion (13) overall follows a second curve with a second radius of curvature (R2), smaller than the first radius of curvature (R1).
HEAT EXCHANGER
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger (1) comprising: a heat exchange core bundle (3) in which a first heat-transfer fluid circulates, at least one inlet tank (5a) or outlet tank (5b) for a second heat-transfer fluid, at least one collector (7) arranged on the periphery of the heat exchange core bundle (3) and comprising a lateral wall (75) of which at least two portions (77) are folded over so as to fix the tank (5a, 5b) by crimping against the heat exchange core bundle (3),
the lateral wall (75) following the contour of at least one corner of the heat exchange core bundle (7), said lateral wall (75) comprising, on each side of the corner, a folded-over portion (77) and comprising in the region of said corner a non-folded-over portion (79), the folded-over portions (77) being connected continuously to the non-folded over portion (79).
MULTI-LAYERED ALUMIUM BRAZING SHEET MATERIAL
Multilayered brazing sheet material including an aluminium core alloy layer having a first brazing clad layer material on one face of the core layer and a second brazing clad layer material on the other face of the core material, and an inter-layer between the core layer and the first brazing clad layer material, wherein the core layer is 3xxx-series aluminium alloy having, in wt. %, up to 0.4% Si, up to 0.5% Fe, 0.4% to 0.75% Cu, 0.6% to 1.1% Mn, up to 0.04% Mg, up to 0.2% Cr, up to 0.25% Zr, up to 0.2% Ti, up to 0.15% Zn, balance aluminium and impurities, wherein the first brazing layer and the second brazing layer are 4xxx-series aluminium alloy having 7% to 14% Si and up to 2% Mg, balance aluminium and impurities, and wherein the inter-layer is aluminium alloy of the 1xxx-series alloys.
Heat exchanger for vehicle
A heat exchanger comprises a first header, a second header, a plurality of tubes, and a flow reducer. The first header is connected to a hot fluid inlet and to a cold fluid outlet, so that the first header comprises a hot region and a cold region, separated by a wall. Each of the plurality of tubes provides fluid communication between the first and second headers, including one tube located next to the wall in the hot region of the first header, being called “hot end tube” , and one tube located next to the wall in the cold region of the first header, being called “cold end tube” . The flow reducer reduces the fluid flow in the hot end tube compared to the fluid flow in other tubes located in the hot region.
Indirect-Type Air Cooler
The invention relates to an indirect-type air cooler by way of which compressed charge air for an internal-combustion engine is cooled by means of a liquid, wherein the air cooler is constructed from stacked pairs of plates having fins which are disposed therebetween, and the brazed stack is disposed in a housing into which the charge air flows, flows through the fins and exits the housing again.
