BEVERAGE EXTRACTION DEVICE
A beverage extraction device includes a mesh member, a cover member that is movable between a first position and a second position; a scraper portion, an upper end portion of which is pivotally supported by the cover member with a lower end portion of the scraper portion being swingable along a vertical direction, that takes a basic attitude in which the lower end portion is positioned lower than the upper end portion under a normal condition, the lower end portion being configured to slide on the mesh member when the cover member is moved from the first position toward the second position; and a contact member configured to come into contact with the scraper portion sliding on the mesh member to cause the scraper portion to take an attitude in which the lower end portion swings upward when the cover member approaches the second position.
Extraction cell
An upward flow extraction method, apparatus, and extract are disclosed. The upward flow extraction method can comprise loading extraction material into an extraction cell having a bottom portion and a top portion; introducing a first aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell; expelling gas from the extraction cell through the top portion of the extraction cell; closing the top portion of the extraction cell and increasing the pressure in the extraction cell as extraction medium flows into the bottom portion of the extraction cell; stopping the flow of extraction medium into the extraction cell; steeping the extraction material in the extraction medium under pressure to produce an extract; and introducing a second aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell to push extract through top portion of the extraction cell.

PORTABLE BEVERAGE PRESS MUG AND METHODS
A portable beverage press mug is includes a vessel and a press head assembly. The press head assembly includes a screen (or filter) and a valve arrangement covering the screen. The valve arrangement is movable in response to fluid pressure to create a gap between the valve arrangement and the frame and permit fluid to pass through the screen and the gap.
TURKISH COFFEE MACHINE
The present invention relates to a Turkish coffee cooking and servicing machine whose inner side is heated by means of a heater (15) and having a cooking chamber (10) wherein a coffee mixture including Turkish coffee, water and optionally sugar is cooked and having a pushing head (13) defining the base of the cooking chamber (10) and which moves vertically between at least one cooking position (i) and a service position (ii) where the coffee mixture in the cooking chamber (10) is raised to the level of the discharge outlet (11) in order to transfer said coffee mixture, provided in the cooking chamber (10), to a beverage vessel through a discharge outlet (11) for servicing when the cooking is completed.
Coffee brewing
There are provided drinking vessels adapted to receive coffee grounds and water to brew coffee wherein the drinking vessels comprise pump means. In one embodiment a drinking vessel (100,200) comprises a first chamber adapted to receive coffee grounds and hot water, a second chamber adapted to receive brewed coffee and a third chamber adapted to receive brewed coffee. Also provided drinking vessel sections (101,102,201,202), a kit of parts and a method of brewing coffee.
Apparatus for beverage brewing
An apparatus and method for brewing coffee of high quality and better taste while also enabling users to utilize less coffee grounds per brewing cycle, thereby achieving significant cost savings. A basket that houses a packet of coffee grounds is housed within a carafe that stores water. The basket is fabricated so that water may enter therein and exit therefrom, and the packet of coffee grounds enables water and natural coffee oils to penetrate the packet, but does not allow coffee grounds to escape the packet. The carafe is filled with water that is gradually heated from at or around tap temperature to approximately boiling. While the water in the chamber is heated, the basket is agitated. This causes the gradually heating water to enter the basket and agitate the packet, thereby extracting natural coffee oil from the grounds stored within the packet, which creates brewed coffee.
