WORKING VEHICLE
A working machine includes a cooling fan, and a first cooling device and a second cooling device that are disposed in series in a flow passage of cooling air that is generated by the cooling fan. The first cooling device is disposed upstream of the second cooling device in a direction of flow of the cooling air, and has a heat-exchange suppressing portion that is provided at a portion corresponding to a region in a rotation center vicinity of the cooling fan and that suppresses heat exchange between the cooling air and a fluid that flows in the first cooling device.
Active warm-up system and method
A vehicle heating/cooling system has first and second fluid circulation loops for circulating engine coolant and automotive fluid. A first heat exchanger transfers heat from the coolant to air for the passenger compartment. A second heat exchanger transfers heat between the coolant and automotive fluid. A first valve has first and second inlets for receiving coolant from hot and cold coolant sources, and an outlet for discharging coolant to the second heat exchanger. A second valve has an inlet for receiving coolant from the first coolant source, and an outlet for discharging coolant to the first inlet of the first valve. The valve positions change with temperature of the coolant and the automotive fluid, providing preferential heating of the passenger compartment during cold start-up of the vehicle. The second heat exchanger and valves may be provided in a temperature control module.
Heat exchanger for the feeding of fuel in an internal combustion engine
The heat exchanger (HE) has a first stage and a second stage (E1, E2) which are seated and affixed in a connecting block seated and affixed to the engine (M). The first stage (E1) is provided with a fuel inlet nozzle and a fuel outlet nozzle which are connected to the supply of fuel to the engine (M), and the connecting block defines: a return conduit, communicating an outlet of a cooling water circuit of the engine (M) with a water inlet in the first stage (E1); an interconnecting conduit communicating a water outlet of the first stage (E1) with a water inlet of the second stage (E2); an outlet conduit communicating a water outlet of the second stage (E2) with an inlet of a water radiator having an outlet; and two oil conduits, communicating a lubricant oil circuit of the engine (M) with the second stage (E2).
Heat exchanger for thermal management systems for the feeding of fuel in internal combustion engines
The internal combustion engines (M) of the invention are provided with a cooling water circuit, associated with a water radiator and with a lubricant oil circuit. The heat exchanger (HE) comprises an inlet and an outlet of water connected, in series, to an outlet of the water radiator, by means of a cooled water conduit and of the cooling water circuit, and to an inlet of the water radiator, by means of a return conduit and a hot water conduit; a fuel inlet nozzle and a fuel outlet nozzle, selectively connected to the fuel supply to the engine (M); and an inlet and an outlet of lubricant oil, connected to the lubricant oil circuit by means of respective oil conduits.
Heat exchanger pressure adjustable baffle
A heat exchanger of the type having a tube assembly made up of a number of tubes through which a first medium flows and around and between which a second medium flows to accept heat from, or transfer heat to, the first medium. One of the media is constrained by a baffle to follow a path through the heat exchanger. According to the invention, the baffle is completely separate from the tubes, so permitting the baffle to adjust automatically. The baffle may be carried on springs and the position based on a pressure balance of the first medium, with the result of allowing the first medium to flow through a varying amount of tubes.
Can-type heat exchanger
A can-type heat exchanger may include a housing having a space therein, integrally formed with a mounting portion, and a first inlet and a first outlet; a partition wall integrally formed to the housing, separating the space and the inside of the mounting portion, and forming a bypass passageway inside of the housing; a heat radiating unit inserted into the space, provided with connecting lines alternately formed by stacking a plurality of plates; a cover cap mounted at opened one surface of the housing, and a second inlet and a second outlet for communicating a second connecting line of the connecting lines; and a valve unit mounted at the first inlet formed in the mounting portion and penetrating the partition wall in the mounting portion, selectively opening and closing the space or the bypass passageway separated by the partition wall using linear displacement.
Can-type heat exchanger
A can type of heat exchanger may include a housing formed as a cylinder, having a mounting space at the inside, and formed with at least one inlet and at least one outlet, a heat dissipation unit mounted in the mounting space of the housing, receiving operating fluids from the inlet, and the operating fluids heat-exchanging with each other, a separating plate separating the mounting space and inside of the mounting portion, and a valve unit, selectively opening and closing the mounting space or a bypass passageway separated by the separating plate using linear displacement which is generated when expansion and contraction occur according to the temperature of the coolant flowing from the inlet, and adjusting flow of the operating fluids.
Heat exchangers with a particulate flushing manifold and systems and methods of flushing particulates from a heat exchanger
A heat exchanger including a body. The body includes a plurality of heat transfer pathways, and a flushing manifold formed with the body of the heat exchanger. The flushing manifold includes a plurality of nozzles oriented so as to spray a flushing fluid onto, into, or both onto and into one or more of the plurality of heat transfer pathways. A method of flushing particulates from a heat exchanger including supplying a flushing fluid through a flushing manifold formed with a body of a heat exchanger, and spraying the flushing fluid onto, into, or both onto and into one or more heat transfer pathways using one or more nozzles in fluid communication with the flushing manifold.
SUPPORT AND CONNECTION DEVICE
A support and connection device is for an operating group of a vehicle. The support and connection device is configured for supporting and for fluidic connection with an operating device in turn included in the operating group. The support and connection device identifies a vertical axis and two longitudinal axes and includes at least one plate-shaped unit in which, in the vertical direction, there is at least one mouth for the passage of a working fluid. The plate-shaped unit includes an upper laminar element, a lower laminar element reciprocally stacked along the vertical axis and a hollow space between them. The at least one mouth for fluid passage is defined laterally by a fluid mouth wall constituted by the reciprocal engagement of an upper mouth rim included in the upper laminar element and by a lower mouth rim included in the lower laminar element.
Engine oil filtration and temperature regulation assembly
An engine oil filtration and temperature regulation assembly (1) mountable on a vehicle engine fluidically connectable to an engine oil circulation system (1). The assembly includes an oil filtration group (2), a heat exchanger group (3) and a support and fluidic connection group (5) to engage to the engine and to support the filtration group (2) and the heat exchanger group (3). The group (5) includes a base plate (50) fluidically connected to receive and return oil from and to the engine. The group (5) includes a support and fluidic connection device (500), between the base plate (50) and the filtration group (2) and/or heat exchanger group (3) having a multi-layer assembly (510) having plate-shaped elements (5101, 5102, 5103, 5104, 5105, 5106) overlappable to constitute respective ducts to create a fluidic connection between the engine and oil filtration group (2) and/or heat exchanger group (3).
