Heat exchanger header with stiffening element
A header tank for a heat exchanger comprises a casing having a hollow interior and a header assembly coupled to the casing. The header assembly comprises a header having a plurality of tube openings formed therein and a stiffening element coupled to the header. The stiffening element includes a stiffening wall extending from a first longitudinal side of the header to an opposing second longitudinal side of the header to provide additional bending stiffness to the header assembly.
Liquid-cooled heat dissipation device and vehicle
A liquid-cooled heat dissipation device is disclosed, comprising a main body, a centrifugal pump, an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. The main body comprises liquid flow channels and liquid storage tanks. The liquid flow channels are circumferentially arranged and spaced apart. The liquid storage tanks are located on both sides of the main body, and the liquid storage tanks on the same side are connected by liquid flow channels. The centrifugal pump is installed in one of the liquid storage tanks. The inlet pipe and the outlet pipe are in spatial communication with the other two liquid storage tanks, respectively. The centrifugal pump guides a cooling liquid through the inlet pipe, main body and outlet pipe. The cooling liquid travel through the liquid storage tanks via the liquid flow channels and forms radial jet flows after being pumped by centrifugal pump.
RADIATOR
A radiator includes an upper tank and a lower tank for storing cooling water, and a core for connecting the upper tank and the lower tank to each other, the core including a plurality of cooling water pipes for flowing the cooling water between the upper tank and the lower tank, and a plurality of fins that are extended between the plurality of cooling water pipes and promote heat dissipation from the cooling water pipes, in which a recess is provided at least on a back surface which is provided to the core and where air flows.
HEAT EXCHANGER
The present disclosure relates to a heat exchanger including a plurality of fluid guiding metal pipes (2) having pipe ends (3) arranged side by side at intervals, at least one pipe bottom (4) made of plastic and having receiving through-holes (5) in which the pipe ends (3) may be received, and a collection box (6) made of plastic and which may be connected to the pipe bottom (4) by a locking device formed between the pipe bottom and the collection box, wherein a seal (9) may be inserted between the pipe bottom (4) and the collection box (6), and the seal ensures press-fit of the pipe bottom (4) on the pipe ends (3) and seals the collection box (6) against the pipe bottom (4) and the pipe bottom (4) against the pipe ends (3).
Multi-core radiator with intermediate tank
A heat exchanger for several applications such as a vehicle is described herein. The heat exchanger includes an inlet header tank configured to receive a fluid, an outlet header tank configured to output the fluid, and an intermediate tank between the inlet header tank and the outlet header tank. A first heat exchanger is between the inlet header tank and the intermediate tank, and a second heat exchanger is between the intermediate tank and the outlet header tank. The intermediate tank has an interior region having a plurality of protuberances disposed therein. The protuberances are configured to facilitate mixing of the fluid within the intermediate tank. The mixing of the fluid with the protuberances provides a more uniform heat distribution within the intermediate tank before entering the second heat exchanger.
CONTINUOUS COOLING ASSEMBLY
Methods and systems are provided for a cooling assembly for a vehicle. In one example, the cooling assembly may be a non-rectangular cooler positioned in a front end of the vehicle with an entry duct continuous with the non-rectangular cooler and arranged upstream of the non-rectangular cooler and an exit duct also continuous with the non-rectangular cooler and arranged downstream of the non-rectangular cooler.
Vehicle heat management system
A vehicle heat management system is provided. The system includes a radiator module having a battery radiator and an electric component radiator. A valve module has an inner space that is divided into a first chamber and a second chamber. Each chamber includes a first passage, a second passage, and a third passage. The first passage connects each chamber to a battery radiator, the second passage connects each chamber to a high-voltage battery core, and the third chamber connects each chamber to an electric component radiator and an electric component core. Each chamber includes therein a guide unit that selectively closes the first passage, the second passage, or the third passage depending on a rotation angle thereof. An actuator that is connected to the guide unit adjusts the rotation angle of the guide unit.
Drive Train Assembly Thermal Management System
A multi-mode vehicle thermal management system is provided that optimizes drive train operating efficiency by thermally de-coupling the drive train thermal control loop from other vehicle thermal control loops during initial vehicle start-up when drive train coolant/lubricant is cold, thus taking into account the temperature dependence of the coolant/lubricant characteristics (e.g., viscosity and density) and the effects of these characteristics on viscous drag and bearing/seal preload force.
RADIATOR INCLUDING THERMAL STRESS COUNTERMEASURE
A tank for a radiator. The tank includes an inlet port through which coolant enters the tank. A wall at least partially defines a cavity in fluid communication with the inlet port. A curved surface of the wall is opposite to the inlet port and reduces volume of the cavity at the inlet port. The curved surface is configured to reduce turbulence of coolant flowing into the cavity from the inlet port. At least one turning vane extends along the wall into the cavity from the inlet port. The at least one turning vane is curved to reduce turbulence of coolant flowing through the inlet port and into the cavity.
