HEAT EXCHANGER, AND EXHAUST HEAT RECOVERY APPARATUS HAVING THE HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger comprises a plurality of heat exchange segments juxtaposed in a housing, and a plug member connected fluid-tightly to the housing, and supporting the heat exchange segments to provide a coolant or cooling medium passage in each gap between the heat exchange segments adjacent to each other. Each heat exchange segment comprises a case having an opening only on a surface of the case, at least outside of the opening being plugged fluid-tightly by the plug member, and a guide member, e.g., fin accommodated in the case, and provided with a plurality of passages allowing only gas flow in a predetermined direction, and gas intake passages and gas exhaust passages at the upstream and downstream thereof, wherein an opening of the case is provided with a gas inlet port communicated with the gas intake passage, and a gas outlet port communicated with the gas exhaust passages.
Tube stay installation assembly
A tube stay mounting assembly includes a press assembly having a housing and a top block configured to flatten fins on a first surface of a finned tube. A press arm is operable to move the top block vertically with respect to the housing. A bottom block is configured to flatten fins on a second surface of the finned tube when the press arm is rotated and moves the top block downwardly. A tube stay clamping assembly includes a clamping housing configured to receive a tube stay having a top, bottom, rear, and front walls, the tube stay being configured to receive a flattened portion of the finned tube. A clamping arm is connected by linking arms to a clamping block, the clamping block configured to engage and force the front wall into snap-fit engagement with the top wall of the tube stay.
Round plate heat exchanger
The present invention discloses a round plate heat exchanger having a heat exchange part in which a plurality of heat medium flow paths and a plurality of combustion gas flow paths are formed alternately adjacent to each other between a plurality of plates. The plurality of plates are formed by stacking a plurality of unit plates comprising a first plate and a second plate stacked each therein. The plurality of heat medium flow paths are formed to be spaced from each other between the first plate and the second plate, a plurality of heat medium connection flow paths are formed in some areas of the plurality of heat medium flow paths, and each of the plurality of combustion gas flow paths is formed between the second plate of one unit plate and the first plate of another unit plate stacked adjacent to the unit plate.
Tube Stay Installation Assembly
A tube stay mounting assembly includes a press assembly having a housing and a top block configured to flatten fins on a first surface of a finned tube. A press arm is operable to move the top block vertically with respect to the housing. A bottom block is configured to flatten fins on a second surface of the finned tube when the press arm is rotated and moves the top block downwardly. A tube stay clamping assembly includes a clamping housing configured to receive a tube stay having a top, bottom, rear, and front walls, the tube stay being configured to receive a flattened portion of the finned tube. A clamping arm is connected by linking arms to a clamping block, the clamping block configured to engage and force the front wall into snap-fit engagement with the top wall of the tube stay.
Acoustic absorber with integrated heat sink
A thermal management assembly is provided for both removing heat and absorbing acoustic energy. The thermal management assembly includes a heat sink base component and a plurality of thermally conductive fins disposed in a sparsely-arranged array in thermal communication with the heat sink base component. Each fin defines a two-sided Helmholtz unit cell disposed in a periodic array extending from the heat sink base component. Each unit cell includes a lossy resonator and a lossless resonator. The lossy resonator includes a first chamber portion bounded by at least one first boundary wall defining a first chamber volume, and a first neck forming an opening in the first chamber portion. The lossless resonator includes a second chamber portion bounded by at least one second boundary wall defining a second chamber volume, and a second neck forming an opening in the second chamber portion.

A plate-type heat exchanger including a body plate, an upper plate, and a lower plate. The body plate includes a plurality of alternately stacked plates, a space between the plurality of plates having a first heat exchange passage through which a first refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure flows, and a second heat exchange passage through which a second refrigerant of low temperature and low pressure flows. A heat exchange between the first refrigerant and the second refrigerant is performed in the body plate. The upper plate is bonded to a front side of the body plate and having a first inlet hole through which the first refrigerant is introduced and a first outlet hole through which the second refrigerant is discharged. The lower plate is bonded to a rear side of the body plate and having a second inlet hole through which the second refrigerant is introduced and a second outlet hole through which the first refrigerant is discharged.
STENCIL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STENCIL PRINTING OF BRAZING MATERIAL ONTO A HEAT EXCHANGER PLATE AND USE THEREOF
The present application relates to a stencil device (150) for simultaneous stencil printing of brazing material onto elevations, areas surrounding port openings, and a circumferential skirt (210) of a heat exchanger plate (200) wherein the stencil device (150) comprises an upper stencil having openings for applying brazing material to elevations and areas surrounding port openings of the heat exchanger plate (200) and a lower stencil printing stencil (150) having a large opening (190) for receiving the heat exchanger plate (200) and contacting an outer perimeter of the circumferential skirt (210) of the heat exchanger plate (200), wherein an inner surface (195) of the large opening (190) comprises brazing material exits (160) for applying brazing material to the circumferential skirts (195). Disclosed is also a method of such stencil printing and also the use of a stencil device for applying heat exchanger plates (200) with a brazing material.
Ultra-compact thin foil heat-exchanger
Various embodiments include heat exchangers and methods of making heat exchangers from a series of stacked plates each made of two foil sheets bonded together in bonding locations forming fluid flow passages between the foil sheets in regions where the foil sheets are not bonded. An inlet port and an outlet port located at opposite ends of the planar extent of the two foil sheets extend through the foil sheets perpendicular to the planar extent of the foil sheets. The inlet and outlet ports provide access for a first fluid to flow into or out of the internal plate passages formed between the two foil sheets. Interstitial channels are formed between the series of plates and configured to allow the flow of a second fluid between the series of plates, allowing heat to be transferred between the two fluids while isolating the two fluids from one another.
Method of manufacturing a heat exchanger
A method includes providing a first metal sheet and a second metal sheet, printing patterns of a plurality of obstructers, a plurality of channels, an evaporator channel, a condenser channel, and a connecting channel on the first metal sheet, bonding the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet to each other, separating the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet from each other to form the plurality of channels, the evaporator channel, the condenser channel, and the connecting channel by introducing a fluid between the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet, introducing working fluid in the plurality of channels, and sealing the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet.
