HEAT EXCHANGER COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE PARTICLE FILTER IN ONE OR MORE OF ITS PASSAGES
A heat exchanger having a stack of multiple plates which are parallel to one another and to a longitudinal direction, and stacked spaced apart from one another so as to define, between one another, a first series of passages for the flow of at least a first fluid in an overall flow direction parallel to the longitudinal direction, each passage being delimited by closure bars disposed between the plates. A filtering device is arranged in at least one passage of the first series, the filtering device extending for the one part between two adjacent plates defining the passage and for the other part between two of the closure bars delimiting the passage, the filtering device having a metal sheet material chosen from among a metal fabric, a nonwoven of metal fibres, a sintered metal powder or sintered metal fibres, a metal foam, or a microperforated plate.
HEAT SINK COMPOSED OF METAL AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SAME
A sink composed of metal, preferably composed of a solid metal block, in particular composed of aluminium, and also to a method and a tool for the production of same. The heat sink has a plurality of fluid lines for conducting cooling fluid which are separated from one another by heat sink ribs arranged between them, which are arranged next to one another and which run in a parallel manner. It is characterized in that the fluid lines are formed by grooves which are milled into the metal.
Ultrasound probe
An ultrasound probe and method for using the same are described. In one embodiment, the ultrasound probe comprises: a probe array assembly having a probe tip; a first enclosure disposed around a portion of the probe array assembly, where the first enclosure has first and second openings and comprises a thermally conductive material; and one or more thermally conductive fins contained within the first enclosure, each of the one or more thermally conductive fins having one end enclosed within the probe array assembly and a portion extending away from the probe array assembly and in thermal contact with an inner surface of the first enclosure to create a thermal path from the first opening to the second opening in the first enclosure.
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR COOLING AN AIRCRAFT PROPULSION ENGINE
The heat exchanger is generally ring-shaped and includes a plurality of heat exchange modules (2), which are mutually independent, being distributed about the axis (A1) of the ring. The modules (2) are assembled with one another, being successively spaced apart in pairs, a space (E1) being created between two adjacent modules (2). At least one of the spaces (E1) receives at least one conductive heat-transfer element (7) extending between respective walls of at least two adjacent the modules (2) which are oriented facing one another.
HEATING PANEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
A heating panel includes a lower panel mounted on the floor and an upper panel serving as a cover of the lower panel. The lower panel includes: a plurality of first guides protruding upward from the bottom surface to guide installation of a heating hose; and a first air passage formed as a groove on the bottom surface and the surface of the first guide, and further includes a plurality of second guides protruding upward from the bottom surface, having the first air passage on the surface thereof, and disposed between the plurality of first guides to guide installation of the heating hose. The upper panel is coupled to the lower panel and includes: a second air passage formed on the bottom surface in a groove form; and a second fastening member coupled with the first fastening member.
Compact heat exchanger unit and air conditioning module particularly for electric vehicle
A compact heat exchanger unit within an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, and a condenser region for the condensation of refrigerant is formed as a heat exchanging surface, and a high-pressure-refrigerant collector region as a refrigerant collector is formed in the integrated form as a plate packet of a heat exchanger within a plate heat exchanger.
GENERAL PURPOSE ENCLOSURE
A general purpose enclosure is provided. A general purpose enclosure for housing an internal unit and providing complete protection against an ingress of dust and water, comprising a first housing and a second housing. A plurality of cooling fins and one or more pressure ports along an exterior surface of the first housing and the second housing. One or more pressure ports comprising a pneumatic valve, pressure sensor cap and a vent membrane such that pressure venting, and pressure testing may be performed by the one or more pressure ports. A method of assembling a general purpose enclosure to an internal unit, comprising applying the first housing and the second housing to the internal unit such that the first housing and the second housing encompass the internal unit and fastening the first housing to the second house.
DUAL CONDUCTION THERMAL SOLUTION
Disclosed is thermal management device that combines a vapor chamber with a mechanical heat sink to provide improved cooling performance under extreme conditions—the vapor chamber and heat sink combination comprises a single-unit device where the vapor chamber side of the device is in direct contact with the heat source and the opposite side of the vapor chamber is equipped with cooling fins that mate with cooperatively sized fins on the heat sink portion of the device.
LOOP HEAT PIPE
At least one of an evaporator, a condenser, a liquid pipe, and a vapor pipe includes a first outer metal layer, a second outer metal layer, and an inner metal layer including a porous body. The porous body includes a first bottomed hole formed in one face of the inner metal layer; a second bottomed hole formed in the other face of the inner metal layer; a pore, and a first convex portion provided inside the first bottomed hole. The first convex portion has a proximal end connected to a bottom face of the first bottomed hole and a distal end provided on an opposite side to the proximal end in a thickness direction of the first convex portion. The distal end is provided at a position further recessed toward the bottom face of the first bottomed hole than the one face of the inner metal layer.
Stackable core system for producing cast plate heat exchanger
A method of forming a cast heat exchanger plate includes forming at least one hot core plate defining internal features of a one piece heat exchanger plate and at least one first set of interlocking features. At least one cold core plate is formed defining external features of the heat exchanger plate and at least one second set of interlocking features. A core assembly is assembled wherein each hot core plate is directly interlocked to the at least one cold core plate. A wax pattern is formed with the core assembly. An external shell is formed over the wax pattern. The wax pattern is removed to form a space between the core assembly and the external shell. The space is filled with a molten material and cures the molten material. The external shell is removed. The core assembly is removed. A core assembly for a cast heat exchanger is also disclosed.
