The primary fluid channel includes a fluid port and a first branched region distal to the fluid port. The plurality of secondary fluid channels are fluidly connected to the primary fluid channel at the first branched region. Each of the plurality of secondary fluid channels includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. Each of the plurality of secondary fluid channels extends radially from the first branched region at the first end and has an equal length from a center of the first branched region to the second end.
CONDENSER
A condenser (100), comprising a shell (112), an inlet pipe (120), and an anti-impact plate (204). The shell (112) has an accommodating cavity (202). The inlet pipe (120) is a circular pipe having a gradually increasing inner diameter from the inlet to the outlet. The inlet pipe (120) is arranged to pass through the upper end of the shell (112), the outlet of the inlet pipe (120) being accommodated in the accommodating cavity (202). The anti-impact plate (204) is accommodated in the accommodating cavity (202), and the anti-impact plate (204) is positioned below the outlet of the inlet pipe (120). There is a gap between the anti-impact plate (204) and the outlet through which fluid flowing from the outlet can flow. The condenser (100) can reduce the friction loss and local resistance of the refrigerant gas flowing into the inlet pipe (120), such that the dynamic pressure of the refrigerant gas entering the condenser (100) is partially converted into static pressure, and reduce the static pressure loss of the refrigerant gas entering the cylinder from the inlet, thereby increasing the condensing pressure of the refrigerant gas in the condenser (100) to enhance the heat exchange performance.
Aircraft Heat Exchangers and Plates
A heat exchanger plate for provides heat transfer between a first flow along a first flowpath and a second flow along a second flowpath. The heat exchanger plate comprised a body having: a first face and a second face opposite the first face; a leading edge along the second flowpath and a trailing edge along the second flowpath; a proximal edge having at least one inlet port along the first flowpath and at least one outlet port along the first flowpath; and at least one passageway along the first flowpath. Along a proximal portion, the first face and the second face converge at a first angle. Along a distal portion, the first face and the second face converge at a second angle less than the first angle.
DIMPLED HEAT EXCHANGER TUBE
A heat exchanger tube includes a curved wall, a leg, and a joint. The leg extends orthogonal to an end of the curved wall. The joint connects the curved wall and leg. A plurality of dimples is aligned along the joint.
TWO-STAGE FRACTAL HEAT EXCHANGER
A multiple-stage fractal heat exchanger includes two or more first fluid flow paths arranged adjacent to one another. Each first fluid flow path is defined by a main inlet channel on one side which diverges into two or more smaller channels to form a central first fluid flow path. In each of the two or more first fluid flow paths. The two or more smaller channels converge away from the central first fluid flow path into a main outlet channel on an opposite side of the first fluid flow path to the main inlet channel. The main outlet channel of each of the two or more first fluid flow paths is configured to be connected to the main inlet channel of an adjacent first fluid flow path.

The top-fired reformer box includes a burner row, a tube row, a reformer tunnel including a closed end, an open end, and a plurality of tunnel ports formed along a side wall of the reformer tunnel, the plurality of tunnel ports including a one or more tunnel port located along the side of the tunnel, and a flow resistor positioned at least one tunnel port applying a flow resistance for flue gas entering the reformer tunnel via the at least one tunnel port such that uniform flow is achieved within the reformer tunnel.
Reverse header design for thermal cycle
A header for a header tank of a heat exchanger comprises a header wall defining a tube receiving portion having a plurality of longitudinally spaced tube openings formed therethrough. The tube receiving portion includes a planar portion and an adjacent offset portion. The planar portion is disposed on a first plane and the offset portion has a variable distance from the first plane as the offset portion extends away from the planar portion with respect to a longitudinal direction of the header.
SELF-SUPPORTING ADDITIVELY-MANUFACTURED HEAT EXCHANGER HEADER
An additively-manufactured heat exchanger header defines a build plane and a vertical axis defining a build direction that is orthogonal to the build plane. The additively-manufactured heat exchanger header includes a header body that at least partially contains a working fluid, and an upper support structure on the header body. The upper support structure defines an interior edge and includes a branchwork of gussets rising upward and outward from a root point located in the middle region on the header body. The header body defines a middle region, an upper region, and a top extension. The branchwork of gussets forms a number of top vanes, each supporting the top extension. The upper region is oriented over the middle region relative to the vertical axis, and the top extension partially defines the fluid boundary and is oriented over the upper region.
