Process of preparing a foaming aid and uses thereof
The present invention relates to a foaming aid and the processes of preparing the same from a coffee extract. The present invention further relates to the use of the foaming aid in the preparation of a beverage including a coffee product such as a as a soluble coffee product. In particular the present invention relates a coffee product, such as a soluble coffee product, that generates stable espresso-type foam or crema upon reconstitution.
Compartmentalized water soluble beverage pod
A compartmentalized water soluble beverage pod for facile beverage preparation includes a plurality of secondary shells that is coupled to a primary shell. The primary shell defines an interior space and each secondary shell defines an associated internal space. The primary shell and the plurality of secondary shells are water soluble. An associated substance, which comprises at least one of a beverage concentrate, a sweetening agent, a creamer concentrate, and a flavoring agent, is positioned in each of the interior space and the internal spaces. The primary shell and the plurality of secondary shells are configured to dissolve when positioned in water so that the associated substances are released to dissolve in the water to form a beverage.

The citrus is at least one selected from the group consisting of clementine, kumquat, mandarin, tangerine, sweetie, citron, citrus sudachi, cheonhyehyang, calamansi, pomelo, hanrabong, orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime, and yuja.The extract is extracted with water, alcohol, ethyl acetate, acetone, nucleic acid, dichloromethane, or a mixed solvent thereof.

The citrus is at least one selected from the group consisting of clementine, kumquat, mandarin, tangerine, sweetie, citron, citrus sudachi, cheonhyehyang, calamansi, pomelo, hanrabong, orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime, and yuja.The extract is extracted with water, alcohol, ethyl acetate, acetone, nucleic acid, dichloromethane, or a mixed solvent thereof.
DISSOLVABLE AND EDIBLE PAPER AND FILM FOR FOOD PRODUCTS
A dissolvable or partially dissolvable package is disclosed, which comprises a dissolvable, consumable material that minimizes clean-up and trash typically generated by packages that contain consumable materials. The package is typically used to deliver consumable materials to a consumable beverage and/or edible food product, such as hot or cold water, juice, milk, alcohol, oat meal, or rice, to create a consumable beverage or edible food product containing the consumable material. The package could be placed in the beverage itself or liquid (e.g., water), or in a machine that disperses liquid that dissolves the package and delivers the mixture of the liquid, the package, and the package contents to a beverage container. Dissolvable, consumable, logos could also be printed on the package, where the logo dissolves at a slower rate than the package, to provide a dissolvable, consumable logo that floats on the beverage as the main body and contents of the package dissolve into a beverage.
