FIREARM
The invention relates to a firearm comprising a housing (1) with a rigid barrel (2) arranged therein, a magazine that can be mounted in the receptacle of the housing (1) and provided with cartridges (4), a closure (3) that can be moved with respect to the housing (1) in the longitudinal direction of the barrel (2) and that is used to guide cartridges (4) from the magazine into a cartridge holder (5) or for ejecting empty cartridge cases. The closure (3) is mounted completely inside the housing (1) over its entire movement path. A sear frame (6) is coupled to the closure (3) which is tensioned by means of a closing spring (7) in the direction of the front closed position of the closure (3). The invention also relates to a locking block (8) coupled to the closure (3) when the closure is in the front closed position. The locking block (8) can be tensioned by a locking spring (9) in the direction of said position, and the locking block (8) can be moved when triggering a shot through the closure (3) by compressing the locking spring (9) only for one part of the movement path of the closure (3) until the decoupling position is reached together with the closure (3).

Pump action firearm with slide lock mechanism
A pump action firearm with bolt slide locking mechanism includes a receiver, a barrel assembly coupled by the receiver, and a bolt slide slideably disposed in the receiver for movement between rearward open breech and forward closed breech positions. A slide lock pivotably mounted to the bolt slide about a pivot axis is selectively engageable with an interference surface on the receiver. When the firearm is fired via a trigger pull, a rotatable hammer strikes and actuates the slide lock. The slide lock rotates from a locked position engaged with the interference surface to prevent the slide from moving out of the closed breech position, to an unlocked position disengaging the interference surface. This allows the slide to be manually moved to the open breech position for cycling the action. A manual actuator is provided for unlocking the slide lock absent a trigger pull.

Firearm with recoil mitigation
Firearms with recoil mitigation have a frame with a connected slide, the slide configured to reciprocate relative to the frame along a slide reciprocation path, the slide having a ramp surface angularly offset from the slide reciprocation path by a first angle, a follower element connected to the frame and configured to reciprocate with respect to the frame along a follower path, the follower being biased toward the slide, and the follower having a slide contact portion configured to contact the ramp surface of the slide, such that reciprocation of the slide generates reciprocation of the follower element. The reciprocation of the slide may define a horizontal plane. The ramp surface may face downwardly and rearwardly. The slide may include a top panel and opposed downwardly-depending side panels each having lower edges. The ramp surface may be formed in a cutout above the lower edge of a side panel.

Firearm delay mechanism
In some embodiments, a firearm comprises a lower receiver, a bolt carrier and a weight. The lower receiver is arranged to support a hammer and an auto-sear. The bolt carrier comprises a body and a striker moveable with respect to the body between a first position and a second position. The body defines a first cavity adjacent the striker. A weight is positioned in the first cavity and arranged to move the striker to the second position, wherein the striker is arranged to operate the auto-sear.

Firearm Configuration for Reducing Recoil
Disclosed is a firearm configuration for a handgun. The firearm configuration is designed to reduce the recoil forces encountered by a user upon firing the weapon. It further includes a recoil plate that absorbs forces generated by the slide during firing. Recoil forces are reduced by lowering the firearm's center of mass and by aligning a recoiling mass with the user's arm and trigger finger. The firearm configuration further includes a locking block which prevents rotational and lateral movement of the barrel upon firing.
