A base pad for a firearm magazine is provided. The base pad has a base pad body made in one piece. The base pad body has a body base and a peripheral wall, protruding peripherally from the body base. The body base and the peripheral wall delimit a body compartment configured to face a lower end of the firearm magazine. Anchoring means for anchoring the base pad to the firearm magazine are provided on the peripheral wall, on a side of the body compartment. Fins, spaced apart from each other, are provided in the peripheral wall, on an outer side, opposite to the side of the body compartment.

A detachable box magazine for firearms includes a hollow magazine tube extending longitudinally along a median plane. The magazine tube defines a single-stack portion extending substantially to an upper tube end that defines an upper tube opening. The magazine tube has a double-stack portion positioned below the single-stack portion and extending to a bottom tube end. For example, front portions of the opposite tube sidewalls have a stepped shape between the upper tube end and the double-stack portion, and the rear portions of the sidewalls have a linear taper between the upper tube end and the double-stack portion.

A detachable box magazine for firearms includes a hollow magazine tube extending longitudinally along a median plane. The magazine tube defines a single-stack portion extending substantially to an upper tube end that defines an upper tube opening. The magazine tube has a double-stack portion positioned below the single-stack portion and extending to a bottom tube end. For example, front portions of the opposite tube sidewalls have a stepped shape between the upper tube end and the double-stack portion, and the rear portions of the sidewalls have a linear taper between the upper tube end and the double-stack portion.

An overmolded/through-molded firearm magazine including at least some of one or more wall portions defining a magazine core, wherein the magazine core extends from a substantially open top portion to a substantially open bottom portion and at least partially defines a core cavity; at least one core aperture/recess formed through a portion of one or more of the one or more wall portions; and an overmolded body formed atop at least a portion of an exterior surface of the magazine core, wherein at least a portion of the overmolded body extends at least partially through the at least one core aperture/recess, forming a through-core protrusion.

An overmolded/through-molded firearm magazine including at least some of one or more wall portions defining a magazine core, wherein the magazine core extends from a substantially open top portion to a substantially open bottom portion and at least partially defines a core cavity; at least one core aperture/recess formed through a portion of one or more of the one or more wall portions; and an overmolded body formed atop at least a portion of an exterior surface of the magazine core, wherein at least a portion of the overmolded body extends at least partially through the at least one core aperture/recess, forming a through-core protrusion.

A firearm magazine assembly and a related method are disclosed. The follower has a top platform, a proximal end, a distal end, and at least one slider rail on a first side of the follower. At least a portion of the at least one slider rail is at a position that is between and remote from both the proximal end of the follower and the distal end of the follower. The housing is shaped to receive the follower. The housing has a first wall having a first recess for receiving the at least one slider rail, the first recess defined by opposing surfaces. At least a portion of the at least one slider rail is shaped to engage the two opposing surfaces to limit tilt of the follower.

A magazine of a pistol for cartridges with a case rim, having a hollow magazine body for accommodating the cartridges in two vertically offset rows, a base plate, a feeder, which is guided in a displaceable manner in the magazine body, and a compression spring between the feeder and the base plate, wherein the upper end region of the magazine body forms a narrowing, in which the two rows of cartridges are guided together to form a single row. In order to ensure a reliable feed of the cartridges despite the case rim, in the longitudinal center the side walls have inwardly directed beads which run over the entire height of the side walls and merge, in the upper region, into converging guide ribs, and the feeder forms a bearing surface, which is convex in the longitudinal direction and on which a cartridge located thereon can alter its angle of inclination in relation to the horizontal.

The sidewalls include a first parallel longitudinal sidewall, a second parallel longitudinal sidewall, a first parallel traverse sidewall, and a second parallel traverse sidewall. The magazine floor plate further includes a locking mechanism for insertion between the firearm magazine and at least one of the sidewalls when the interior cavity accommodates the portion of the firearm magazine. The first and second parallel longitudinal sidewalls have a length greater than the firearm magazine.
