Drum magazine assembly and methods
A magazine assembly for a firearm and a related method are disclosed. The assembly has a magazine housing defining a track, and a follower assembly. The magazine housing is configured to constrain a cartridge as the cartridge is moved within the magazine assembly such that majority of a proximal surface area of the cartridge does not contact the magazine housing, and a distal tip of the cartridge does not contact the magazine housing.

RECOILLESS, SLIDELESS REPEATING MAGAZINE-FED WEAPON
A recoilless, slideless repeating magazine-fed (19) weapon, comprising a hammer (9), a hammer pull rod (7), a trigger spring (8) and a safety (28). The open breech (15) connects directly to the open, expanding cross-section funnel (18), and furthermore the funnel (18) has an extractor (24) on the side which connects to the forend (21) through a funnel pull rod (20), and furthermore the magazine (19) is connected to the magazine well (19/1) at the bottom of the open breech (15) with a magazine holding pin (19/6). The weapon is compatible with a variety of magazines (19), including box magazines (with one or more rows of cartridges), drum magazines, or helical magazines.

Magazine apparatus for self-loading firearms
Example apparatus are disclosed for a magazine for a self-loading firearm, the magazine comprising a magazine housing, and a magazine floor plate movably mounted to the magazine housing. The magazine floor plate is slidable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the magazine floor plate is pivotable relative to the magazine housing when in the open position.

LOCKING MAGAZINE
A magazine is provided for a firearm. The magazine comprises a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a user interface adapted to enable a user to select between a locked condition and an unlocked condition. The locking mechanism has a rotor movable between a first rotational position when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition and a second rotational position when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition. The magazine comprises an elongated shaft connected to the rotor. The magazine comprises a block element connected to the elongated shaft. The block element is adapted to move between a first position when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition in which at least one of firearm operation and magazine extraction are prevented, and a second position when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition in which firearm operation and magazine extraction are enabled.
Bolt stop actuator for use in a firearm
A bolt stop actuator is disclosed. The actuator may include a lift arm, a first leg extending from a point proximate to an end of the lift bar and generally perpendicular therefrom, a second leg extending in the same direction from the lift bar as the first leg, and a projection extending from the lift bar and configured to contact a follower of an empty magazine when the bolt stop actuator is assembled into a firearm. Neither the first leg, nor the second leg, include apertures positioned distal to the lift arm.

Compact flat magazine spring
A flat spring for firearm magazines has a one-piece unitary body with end half-coils at opposite ends and interior coils in a repeating arrangement between the end half-coils. Each of the interior coils includes an upper half-coil and a lower half-coil, each extending between outer tips on opposite sides of the spring body. Increasing and staggering the half-coil lengths, adjusting the radii of the outer tips and shaped matching the end half-coils and upper and lower half-coils within the magazine housing all contribute to a flat magazine spring that uses all available space within a firearm magazine to effectively reduce the number of coils and material thickness so that the compressed spring height is at its absolute minimum, thereby allowing for maximum space for ammunition.
