Ammunition magazine
A detachable box magazine for firearms includes a hollow magazine tube extending longitudinally along a median plane. The magazine tube defines a single-stack portion extending to an upper tube end with an upper tube opening. The magazine tube defines a double-stack portion positioned below the single-stack portion and extending to a bottom tube end with a bottom tube opening. For example, front portions of the opposite tube sidewalls have a stepped shape between the upper tube end and the double-stack portion, and the rear portions of the sidewalls have a linear taper between the upper tube end and the double-stack portion.
Gun lock
A magazine is provided for a firearm. The magazine comprises a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a user interface adapted to enable a user to select between a locked condition and an unlocked condition. The locking mechanism has a rotor movable between a first rotational position when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition and a second rotational position when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition. The magazine comprises an elongated shaft connected to the rotor. The magazine comprises a block element connected to the elongated shaft. The block element is adapted to move between a first position when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition in which at least one of firearm operation and magazine extraction are prevented, and a second position when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition in which firearm operation and magazine extraction are enabled.
Magazine with a moveable lip for cased telescoped ammunition cartridges
A magazine for storing cased telescoped (CT) cartridges and delivering the CT cartridges to a firearm configured to fire CT cartridges. The magazine includes a fixed lip and a moveable lip. The fixed lip and the moveable lip of the magazine are configured to prevent a CT cartridge located in a top-most position within the magazine from being pushed out a top of the magazine when the magazine is not fully inserted into a magazine well of the firearm configured to fire CT cartridges. The moveable lip may pivot laterally on a pivot point and move out of the way of the CT cartridge located in the top-most position within the magazine when the magazine is fully inserted and locked into the magazine well of the firearm configured to fire CT cartridges.

A device implementable on a firearm includes a magazine funnel and a securing mechanism. The magazine funnel is configured to couple to an opening at a bottom of a grip of the firearm. The magazine funnel has a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The securing mechanism protrudes from the first side of the magazine funnel such that, when a gap related to the securing mechanism is expanded while the magazine funnel is coupled to the opening with the securing mechanism inserted into a void of the grip, the securing mechanism secures the magazine funnel to the grip of the firearm.

A magwell adapter is provided for use with a firearm. The firearm can include a firearm frame having a barrel section and a grip section. The grip section of the firearm can include a sear spring alignment plate, a magazine well, a sear spring, and a main spring cavity. The magwell adapter can be slidably coupled to the bottom end of the grip section of the firearm or coupled in another manner. The magwell adapter can include an aperture for receiving a tab of and holding the sear spring in place within the grip section. The magwell adapter can also include one or more pin receiving apertures adjacent to a rear end of the adapter. The pin receiving apertures can be configured to receive a mainspring housing pin to couple the mainspring housing to the magwell adapter when the mainspring housing is inserted into the grip section of the firearm.

A firearm comprises a frame defining a magazine well configured to receive a first magazine type configured to receive a first cartridge caliber and to receive a second magazine type configured to receive a different second cartridge caliber. It has a magazine retention latch connected to the frame, and the latch is configured to admit and retain a magazine of the first type and to deny admission and retention of a magazine of the second type.
