PISTOL WITH HORIZONTAL MAGAZINE BENEATH THE BARREL
20170299296 · 2017-10-19 ·

A striker fired semi-automatic pistol or handgun that utilizes a magazine positioned horizontally and in front of the grip. The pistol of the invention includes two recoil springs and two locking lugs positioned on each side of the barrel (1 per side) which has a corresponding set of locking blocks. A sliding stripper rail is utilized to move cartridges from the magazine to the barrel. The grip is detachable and completely customizable, using a small solid tang to connect the grip to the firearm.

Delivery shell using gyroscopic guiding system and methods of making the same

A projectile such as a paintball including a ball-shaped capsule and a round-shaped disc capable of facilitating accuracy of projectile travel direction is disclosed. The ball-shaped or substantial ball-shaped capsule, in one embodiment, having a head and a tail is able to store and deliver colored markers upon an impact between the projectile and an object. The round-shaped disc is positioned at a place so that allowing a portion of the round-shaped disc to extend above outer surface of the capsule. The disc is able to catch at least airflow when the projectile is launched. The round-shaped disc, in one example, uses the direction of the airflow to facilitate travel direction of the projectile.

Ammunition magazine

The present invention is an ammunition magazine, preferably made of a reinforced polymer, utilizing a structurally enhancing ridge, angular guide rails and a follower made to interface with said guide rails to reduce wobble. The preferred embodiment also features a protective cover that distributes forces from the spring to more structurally sound areas of the magazine, thus reducing feed end splay, and an ammunition indication system comprised of at least one window and a noticeable marker on the follower spring. The follower and magazine casing are also designed to interface to prevent the follower from popping out of the feed end and the floor plate of the magazine utilizes a locking plate and sliding relationship between the floor plate, locking plate and magazine to secure the floor plate onto the magazine casing. The cover features built in tools for, among other things, unloading and disassembling the magazine.

This invention relates to a non-lethal projectile to be fired using a paintball gun, and more particularly, but not exclusively, to an aerodynamic non-lethal projectile which is used for marking, inhibiting or administering medicinal or other chemical substances to live targets. According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a projectile comprising a body shaped to receive a capsule containing a substance, the body having a stabilizing member connected thereto for stabilizing the projectile in flight when the projectile is discharged from a weapon, and an annular member connected to the stabilising member at a rear end of the projectile for positioning the projectile relative to the weapon and relative to other projectiles to be discharged by the weapon.

MAGAZINE FOLLOWER FOR ENHANCING RELIABILITY OF FIREARMS AND FIREARM MAGAZINES
20170241726 · 2017-08-24 ·

A magazine for a firearm is formed by a magazine box with a spring therein. A magazine follower in the magazine box is urged toward an open end thereof by the spring, and is formed by a base member extending along a longitudinal axis of the magazine box, and slide stop actuating and cartridge engaging structures extending outwardly from the base member. The slide stop actuating and/or the cartridge engaging structures are resiliently biased in a lateral direction away from a longitudinal axis of the base member to be movable between: (1) a compressed position wherein a longitudinal axis of the slide stop and/or the cartridge engaging structures are laterally perpendicular with the longitudinal axis of the base member, and (2) an uncompressed position where the longitudinal axis of the slide stop actuating and/or the cartridge engaging structures are not laterally perpendicular with the longitudinal axis of the base member.

An ammunition magazine base pad retaining plate is provided with a protrusion including a shaft portion, a flange portion having a lager cross sectional diameter than the shaft portion, and a longitudinal slot to allow lateral compression. When attached to a magazine base pad in a magazine assembly, the configuration of the base pad retaining plate eliminates the possibility that the base pad retaining plate will disengage from the base pad resulting in catastrophic disassembly of the ammunition magazine.

Firearm lower receiver with non-detachable magazine
20170227312 · 2017-08-10 ·

A lower receiver for an AR15 type firearm is provided comprising a non-detachable magazine movable in the receiver between a first locked position where the firearm is ready for use (i.e. cocked and ready for firing) and a second non-operational position where the magazine is lowered sufficiently to open a window or aperture in the receiver enabling the user to load fresh shell cartridges into the magazine. A locking mechanism also is provided for controlling the position of the non-detachable magazine between the first and second positions. A child-proof lock further is provided to prevent undesired activation of the locking mechanism. Additionally, a novel locking plate disposed between the lower receiver's frame and the receiver's stock extension tube provides enhanced support for the extension tube and an accessory attachment point for a shoulder strap or sling.
