FIREARM SYSTEM WITH FIRE MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
Implementations of the present invention relate to apparatuses, systems, and methods for firing a belt-fed closed-bolt firearm by delivering an impulse from an impulse source along a first axis to a firing pin on a second axis. The first axis and second axis are not coaxial, allowing the impulse source to be disposed away from and not in direct contact or alignment with the firing pin.

FIREARM OPERATING SYSTEM
A firearm operating system includes a housing, a central pivoting member disposed within the housing, a trigger including a portion disposed within the housing and a portion extending outside the housing such that the portion of the trigger within the housing includes a hole and at least one finger that extends in a first direction from the hole. Due to movement of the trigger, the at least one finger presses against the central pivoting member to cause the central pivoting member to rotate.

Trigger with cam
In some embodiments, a trigger group comprises a trigger arranged to pivot on a trigger axis and a hammer arranged to pivot on a hammer axis. The hammer includes a cam surface. The hammer is moveable from a first position to a second position upon break of the trigger, and the cam surface contacts the trigger in the second position. Desirably, the cam is arranged to bias the trigger.
