Flexible cable guard for a compound archery bow
10066895 · 2018-09-04 · ·

A compound archery bow comprises a riser, limbs attached to the riser, pulley members mounted on the limbs, a draw cable, one or more additional cables, and a cable guard. The limbs, draw cable, and additional cables are arranged so that drawing the bow rotates the pulley members to let out the draw cable, takes up or lets out each additional cable with the pulley members, and bends the bow limbs toward one another. The cable guard comprises an elongated, resilient, non-articulated member attached to and extending backward from the riser, and a cable retainer. The cable guard displaces each additional cable laterally from a shooting plane of the bow sufficiently at brace to avoid fletching of an arrow, and bends inwardly when the bow is drawn but still displaces each additional cable laterally sufficiently to avoid the shaft of the arrow.

Archery bow overdraw or under draw sensing system is comprised of four main parts: (1) a force sensing resistor (FSR) on the bow limb near a cam between the draw stop on the cam and the bow limb where the draw stop rests on the bow limb at full draw or on the grip; (2) at least one LED light mounted on or adjacent to the bow sight; (3) a controller for reading the force of the draw stop on the force sensing resister (FSR) and controlling the on/off function of the LED; and (4); and a power source for the system.

An archery training assembly includes a mount that may be coupled to a bow. A clicker is movably coupled to the mount. The clicker includes a magnet and the magnet is magnetically attracted to a tip of an arrow. The magnet frictionally engages the arrow when the arrow is fully drawn thereby facilitating the clicker to make an audible click when the arrow is fully drawn.

Archery Bow Simulator

An archery bow simulator, combining elements of a recurve bow and a compound bow into a single, versatile archery training device. A simulator body provides the main body and handle, while a first string bracket and a second string bracket are terminally connected to opposite ends of the simulator body. A first string stopper and a second string stopper extends from the simulator body and provide a means for supporting a string that is trained around the first string bracket and the second string bracket, and terminally connected to a first draw length adjuster and a second draw length adjuster. The first draw length adjuster and the second draw length adjuster allow the user to adjust the tension in the string. The first string bracket, the second string bracket, the first string stopper, and the second string stopper are collapsible for greater portability and storability.
