The system of the preferred embodiments is a sporting weapon backpack including: two shoulder straps; a folding protective cover attached to the shoulder straps, where the shoulder straps are attached to the exterior surface of the first side of the folding protective cover, where the folding protective cover is sized to protect the majority of a sporting weapon, where the folding protective is constructed from fabric; padding attached to the folding protective cover; at least one bag compartment attached to the exterior surface of the second side of the folding protective cover, where the bag compartment can be selectively closed by at least one of A) a zipper, B) straps and buckles, C) clasps and straps, and D) hook and loop fasteners; at least one temporary fastener attached to the peripheral edge of both sides of the folding protective cover, where the at least one temporary fastener is adapted to temporarily fasten one peripheral edge of the folding protective cover to the other peripheral edge of the folding protective cover; at least one of I) at least one pouch attached near the bottom of the interior surface of at least one side of the folding protective cover, and II) at least one strap, where the at least one of I) at least one pouch and II) at least one strap is adapted to support the sporting weapon, where the sporting weapon may be supported and the at least one temporary fastener may be used to close the folding protective cover over the sporting weapon to securely hold and transport the sporting weapon. The sporting weapon backpack of the preferred embodiments is preferably designed to easily transport and protect a sporting weapon on a user's back, while also providing bag compartments that can be used to store any additional items and gear as with a standard backpack. The system of the preferred embodiments may, however, be used for any suitable purpose.

PORTABLE STORAGE UNIT WITH INTEGRATED MOUNTING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

A portable storage unit includes an integrated mounting system and a rugged, weatherproof design that facilitates transport. The rigid main body of the storage unit includes a bottom cover having a bottom surface with a recessed central region positioned between adjacent side regions that extends between top and bottom surfaces of the main body and facilitates mounting the storage unit to a tree or other mounting structure. A top cover has a lip that extends over an edge of the bottom cover and a gasket creates an airtight and watertight seal therebetween. At least one hinge couples the rigid top cover to the rigid bottom cover and an anchoring member coupled to a top surface of the main body. Accessory panels provide attachment points for storage on exterior and interior surfaces of the storage unit.

The present disclosure relates to structures that are adapted to facilitate the retention, storage, and transport of arrows. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, for example, an arrow retainer is described that includes a resilient portion having a plurality of passageways extending therethrough for retaining a plurality of arrows therein. Each passageway is resiliently expandable upon insertion of an arrow to maintain the position of the arrow. In another embodiment of the present disclosure, for example, an arrow storage device is disclosed that provides an efficient and secure means of storing arrows. The presently disclosed arrow retainer and arrow storage device may be used in conjunction with one another as part of an arrow storage system.

Archery bow sling and related method of use

An archery bow sling can include one or more cam covers that can cover respective cams of an archery bow, a base panel, an arrowhead hood extending away from a cam cover adjacent the base panel, an arrow retainer between the hood and another cam cover, the arrow retainer defining slots configured to receive one or more arrows; and a sling strap joined with the cam covers on opposing ends of the sling. The sling can be selectively removable from the archery bow with the arrows being carried by the sling and separate from the archery bow, which can itself be quiver-less. The sling can include a fletching guard distal from the hood and configured to extend over fletchings on the arrows, and a string cover panel that provides a string compartment configured to receive and/or protect a bowstring of the bow. A related method of use is provided.
