20200149839 · 2020-05-14 ·

An archery training aid is provided including a body and a finger rest extending outward at an angle from a base. The finger rest can include a finger rest surface configured to engage one or more fingers of a hand. The base can be configured to be placed in engagement with a first lateral grip surface of a bow grip so that the finger rest surface is disposed at a first angle between 25 to 65, inclusive, or between 30 and 50, inclusive, relative to the first lateral grip surface. A related method of use is provided to impair or prevent bow torque imparted by an archer's hand on a bow.

An adjustable archery training bow assembly includes a single resistance element and an adjustment mechanism that can be actuated by a user to vary the tension level in the resistance element for training purposes. The training bow also includes a mount for receiving a mobile device, which allows the user to practice various augmented reality-archery training scenarios. The adjustable archery training bow is used to enhance the user's skills, such as his/her strength, stability, and accuracy to help deliver on-target an arrow fired from a real, non-training bow.

An archery accuracy device, system, and method for improving archery accuracy that can be tailored for each archer and their current archery equipment is provided. The archery accuracy device may embody a wireless accelerometer and gyroscope sensors coupled to an auto graphing software adapted to graphically represent multiple sets of bow movement data collected by the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. The graphical representation of multiple data sets, each data set associated with a different attempted shot, may be layered over each other on in one graphical representation, thereby enabling the archer to compare and contrast in their quest to optimize the best stabilization, setup condition through this iterative process.

Bow grip aid

Shooting accuracy in archery may be greatly improved by increasing the precision and repeatability in which an archer establishes anchor points, which are contact points between the archer and a drawn bow and arrow at a moment of launch. One such contact point is the hand gripping the bow grip. The invention provides a bow grip aid which enables an archer to repeatably grip the same location of the bow grip and maintain consistent grip firmness from one shot to the next. Reducing variances of this aspect of the archer's form benefits the archer by reducing variances between the archer's sighting process and determination of point of aim, and the impact point of the arrow on its target. The invention helps archers grip a bow more consistently so they can consistently place each arrow where they want it to go.

Disclosed is a finger release aid for archery shooting training with an archery training device. The archery training system provides an archer the ability to safely condition psychologically and physically without the need of a bow and arrow while maintaining the sensation of using a bow and arrow. Dry firing the archery training system with the finger release aid mimics the actions of finger shooting an arrow while using a traditional archery bow. Instant feedback for users is provided when they have maintained proper form during the draw, hold, and release phases used during finger shooting.

An archery training method includes measuring a load applied to a bow hand holding a bow or applied to a release hand drawing a bow string of the bow, the measuring being performed while the bow string is drawn to a cocked positioned for firing an arrow; comparing through a computer processor the measured load to a predetermined value; and activating an output device to generate a notice based on the comparison between the measured load and the predetermined value.

PROTECTIVE GLOVE FOR ARCHERY SHOOTING

There is provided a protective glove to cover at least a portion of a hand of an archer during the shooting of arrows from a bow, which glove is designed to resist a broken arrow from puncturing through the glove and entering the flesh of the user. In particular, there may be a palm section, made of a first arrow puncturable material that covers the palm of the users hand. There may also be a protective section, located on the glove covering the back of the hand of the user, made of a second material that has a high weight-to-strength value, coupled to the palm section and positioned so that a broken arrow being shot from a bow will have a higher likely hood of hitting the protective section than hitting areas not having the protective section.
