What is disclosed is an archery hand warming device that functions to keep a user's bow hand warm when grasping an archery bow. The device has a sleeve that fits over a user's forearm and two flaps that wrap around a user's hand when grasping the handle of a bow so as to shield a user's bow hand from the elements. The archery hand warming device utilizes a grommet or other opening typically located in one or both flaps which allows for the passage of a male threaded connector of a typical archery stabilizer to pass through and connect to the female threaded connector of an archery bow in order to mount or attach the archery hand warming device to the archery bow.

A method for monitoring operation of an archery bow includes attaching an apparatus to a bow cord. The apparatus includes a processor, a monitoring device electrically coupled with the processor, a wireless communication module electrically coupled with the processor, and a power supply electrically coupled with each of the processor and the wireless communication module. The method further includes detecting, by the monitoring device, a tension of the bow cord. The method also includes generating, by the processor and based upon the detected tension of the bow cord, data concerning tension of the bow cord. The method further includes wirelessly transmitting, by the wireless communication module, the data to a remote computing device. The method also includes receiving, by the remote computing device, the data. The method also includes presenting, by the remote computing device and based upon the data, information to a user reflecting the detected tension.

CROSSBOW DE-COCKING MECHANISM

A crossbow de-cocking mechanism may include a trigger mechanism, a trigger latch mechanism and a winch assembly. A first rotational input to the winch may move a trigger latch to disengage the trigger mechanism. A second rotational input to the trigger latch, opposite to the first, may move the trigger mechanism to move a crossbow bowstring from a cocked position to an un-cocked position.
