A reflective gun sight includes a rear sight including a light source; and a front sight including a reflective surface that is directly opposing the light source and recessed within an aperture of a front sight housing, wherein light emitted from the light source travels through the aperture and is reflected by the reflective surface toward the rear sight.
Reflex Sight
An optical sight includes a housing, an optical element, and a photo detector. The housing has a main body, a pair of upwardly extending posts, and a cross member extending between the pair of upwardly extending post. The optical element is supported by the housing and positioned between the pair of upwardly extending posts and between the main body and the cross member. The photo detector is positioned in the housing and configured to detect ambient light at a target object. A first post of the pair of upwardly extending posts and the cross member are joined at a shoulder of the housing. The photo detector is formed in the shoulder of the housing.
CLIP-ON RIFLESCOPE DISPLAY CLAMP
A clip-on display for mounting to a riflescope may include a clamp member. The clamp may include first lateral member. The clamp may include a second lateral member spaced apart from the first lateral member. The clamp may include a collar that extends between and couples the first lateral member and the second lateral member. The clamp may include a first clamp arm and a second clamp arm. Each of the first clamp arm and the second clamp arm may include a fixed end that extends from the first lateral member and a free end that is coupleable with the second lateral member to tighten the respective clamp arm. The clip-on display may include a beam splitter coupled with the clamp.
LUMINAIRE
The invention relates to a luminaire comprising a housing, at least two radiation sources and at least one directing means. The directing means is used to direct the emission of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the radiation sources. According to the invention, the radiation sources are all located in the center of the directing means such that the radiation sources are arranged concentrically with respect to one another. The radiation sources can be switched on and off individually, jointly, or in combination. Each radiation source emits electromagnetic radiation within a constant wavelength range when switched on, wherein different radiation sources can emit electromagnetic radiation within different wavelength ranges.
AIMING OR VIEWING DEVICE WITH PROGRAMMABLE ILLUMINATOR
A reflex sight for a firearm has a body, a mounting facility, a controller, an actuator, and an illumination facility operably connected to the controller and having a plurality of different operating states. The controller is responsive to sequential actuation of the actuator to cycle among the operating states. The controller is operable to change operation of the illumination facility after a selected duration based on a power consumption characteristic of the operating state.
Collapsible reflective sight for a firearm including a locking mechanism
A collapsible reflective optical sight for a firearm includes a base that mounts the optical sight to the firearm, a lens attached to and rotatable with respect to the base, wherein the lens includes a first optic with a reflective surface and the lens is folded with respect to the base for storage in a collapsed configuration and is angled with respect to the base in a deployed configuration for use in aiming the firearm, a light source on the base that reflects light off the reflective surface of the first optic to a user for use in aiming the firearm, a mechanical sight on the base for use in aiming the firearm when the lens is in the collapsed configuration, and a self-contained locking mechanism to mount the collapsible reflective optical sight to the firearm.
Reticle unit and optical apparatus
A reticle unit equipped with an optical apparatus such as a riflescope includes: red and green light sources radiating red light and green light; a disc-like shaped reticle substrate that has a diffraction grating formed at substantially the center of a surface having substantially circular shape; and red and green mirror members converge light radiated from the red and green light sources, make incidence on the reticle substrate from corresponding side surface portions of the reticle substrate to illuminate the diffraction grating so as to emit first order diffracted light reflected and diffracted by the diffraction grating along a normal direction of the diffraction grating.
DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING A TARGET MARK
The invention relates to an optical device for displaying a reticle or a target mark in a measuring or sighting telescope, comprising a reticle plate with a reticle disposed on one surface, a light source for illuminating this reticle, and the reticle plate has an entry surface for a beam path disposed to the side of the surface provided with the reticle, and at least one retroreflector is disposed on at least one light exit surface of the reticle plate, and a reflective layer of the retroreflector is directed towards the reticle plate.
Firearm sight
A firearm sight which facilitates ease and accuracy in aiming a firearm may include a sight housing configured to be attached to a firearm. The sight housing may include a front housing end and a rear housing end. At least one power source and a light emitter which electrically interfaces with the power source may be provided in the sight housing. A light transmission compartment may be provided in the sight housing and disposed in light-receiving communication with the light emitter. The light transmission compartment may have a light emission end at the rear housing end of the sight housing. A light transmission medium may be provided in the light transmission compartment to emit light from the light emitter through the light emission end of the light transmission compartment.
