A method for steering a steerable interceptor missile driven by an engine for intercepting a moving target during a midcourse phase of an interception, includes steering the missile with real steering commands produced at respective steering times based on free control parameters formed as a current parameter vector. The free control parameters are constantly and repeatedly optimized during the midcourse phase by an optimization method for optimizing the control parameters. The optimization method is carried out in parallel with the actual steering. Newly detected information about the movement of the target and/or information about the flight of the missile is used in the optimization method as soon as the information is available. Optimized control parameters are accepted into the current parameter vector after being provided by the optimization method. An interceptor missile contains the current parameter vector and a control and evaluation unit for carrying out the method.

Described are systems and methods for drone interdiction. A target aircraft is detected based on data from one or more of one or more radars, a fixed camera image from one or more fixed cameras, and an interceptor aircraft image from a camera mounted to an interceptor aircraft. An interception location is generated describing where the interceptor aircraft and the target aircraft are expected to meet. The interceptor aircraft is directed to the interception location to immobilize the target aircraft.

DEVICE FOR ANTI-AIRCRAFT SPOOFING AND JAMMING AND AN AIR DEFENSE SYSTEM COMPRISING SAID DEVICE

The invention refers to a counter countermeasures device, for use in an anti-aircraft combat. In one embodiment the CCM device together with an anti-aircraft weapon system forms an air defense system. The counter countermeasures device is configured for generating and emitting electromagnetic radiation of appropriate wavelengths and is capable of operating in spoof and jam mode and switching between both modes. The mode of operation is dependent on the selection of the output power of the EM source unit and the distance to the target. The selection of the output power may be done with a mechanical cover or with an electronic solution, decreasing driving current of the EM sources. With the CCM device the anti-aircraft missile launch warning and detection system installed on aircrafts are deceived and the countermeasures are released. With the use of the CCM device the efficiency of the anti-aircraft combat is highly improved, i.e. the probability of the target hit is highly improved.
