Pivot mount for an optical aiming device
Disclosed are embodiments of a pivot mount for an optical aiming device. The pivot mount can be attached to an accessory rail, such as a MIL-STD-1913 rail, extending along the top of a receiver or handguard of a firearm. The pivot mount allows an attached optical aiming device to be pivoted between a use position and a storage position. The pivot mount is configured to ensure that the optical aiming device returns to zero, within a milliradian in some implementations, after being pivoted between the use position and the storage position.
FIREARM ACCESSORY MOUNT
A firearm accessory includes a firearm attachment portion that is configured to attach to a firearm. The firearm attachment portion defines a barrel passage that defines a barrel passage axis. The barrel passage is configured to receive at least a portion of a firearm barrel. The firearm accessory includes an accessory mounting portion that is pivotally attached to the firearm attachment portion. The accessory mounting portion is movable between an open position and a closed position. When in the open position, the accessory mounting portion is positioned away from the barrel passage, and when in the closed position, the accessory mounting portion is positioned at least partially around the barrel passage.

Multi-position Accessory Mount
A rotating optical mount for firearms that allows the user to install two completely different optical devices on the same firearm and easily switch between the two. As each optical device is rotated in the top center position of the apparatus it will latch into a predetermined and repeatable position allowing the user to maintain proper projectile placement with previously made adjustments to the optical device. Operators can quickly and easily switch between an optical device for distance engagement to an optical device for close quarters engagement and visa-versa by rotating the apparatus in the appropriate direction to place the desired optical device in optimum position while with the same action, moving the previously desired optical device away from the optimum position.
ARTICULATING MOUNT FOR WEAPON SIGHT ACCESSORY
An articulating accessory mount for mounting a weapon sight accessory to a rail of a weapon includes base portion and an upper portion rotatable relative to the base portion between a use position and a storage position. The articulating mount includes a pivot pin extending through the base portion and the upper portion, the pivot pin being secured to the upper portion for rotation therewith. The articulating mount includes a detent mechanism formed in the base portion and arranged to engage a set of recesses provided in the pivot pin to bias the upper portion in one of the use position or the storage position. A weapon sight system includes a weapon sight supported on an accessory rail, a weapon sight accessory, such as a magnifier, and an articulating accessory mount supporting the accessory on an accessory rail for movement between the use position and the storage position.
Kinematic mount for a firearm
A kinematic mount assembly is provided. The kinematic mount assembly includes a fixed mount and a pivot mount. The fixed mount and pivot mount together have a plurality of protrusions and recesses to guide the mounts into a repeatable position when rotating from an opened to a closed position. The protrusions may be semispherical balls and the recesses may be gothic-arch shaped. The pivot mount and fixed mount may be coupled by a pivot pin and rotate about the pivot pin. The pivot mount may contain holes configured to mount an accessory. A latch assembly may hold the fixed mount and pivot mount closed until the latch is actuated, usually by a switch, to allow the system to open.
Mount For A Firearm
A mount for attaching one or more firearm accessories to a firearm. The mount comprises a base that is mountable to an upper portion of the firearm, an arm adapted for coupling to a first firearm accessory, and a release assembly connected to the base. The arm is pivotally coupled to the base whereby in an engaged configuration the arm is retained adjacent the base, and in a disengaged configuration the arm is able to pivot away from the base. When actuated the release assembly is adapted to release the arm from the engaged configuration wherein the arm is able to pivot towards the disengaged configuration.
Weapon Accessory Mount
A weapon accessory mount for removably mounting an accessory on a weapon. The weapon accessory mount includes an accessory rail supported by a base with a weapon attachment interface that engages the weapon. The weapon attachment interface includes an alignment pin that interfaces a portion of the weapon and a retaining pin that couples to an additional portion of the weapon. The accessory rail utilizes mounting grooves to interchangeably couple weapon accessories to the weapon accessory mount. Furthermore, accessory interference locators are located within some of the mounting grooves to define weapon-accessory-specific locations along the accessory rail, in which a weapon accessory should not be mounted to. Additionally, the weapon accessory mount is configured for mounting non-boresight aligned optics to a weapon and locating the non-boresight aligned optic in relation to the weapon to use in tracking a target.
