A valve device includes a valve housing, a valve member, a limiter portion and a contact portion. The valve housing includes an upstream-side flow passage, which is communicated with an intake passage, a receiving space, which is communicated with an EGR passage, a valve chamber, which communicates between the upstream-side flow passage and the receiving space, and a valve-housing-side seal portion, which is placed around an opening that communicates between the upstream-side flow passage and the receiving space. The valve member includes a valve-member-side seal portion, which blocks communication between the intake passage and the EGR passage when the valve-member-side seal portion contacts the valve-housing-side seal portion. The rotation of the valve member is limited when the contact portion contacts the limiter portion.

THROTTLE BODY STRUCTURE

An improved throttle body structure is provided. The structure includes a throttle body. The throttle body is provided with a plurality of airflow channels running from top to bottom, each of the airflow channels is internally provided with a butterfly valve for controlling a ventilation volume, and the throttle body is internally provided with injectors whose quantity corresponds to a quantity of the airflow channels. Each of the airflow channels is further internally provided with a tubular atomizer mounted and fixed in a radial direction, the atomizer is in a shape of a blind tube with one opening end, a tube wall of the atomizer is provided with a plurality of atomizing holes, and the opening end of the atomizer is connected to the injectors. The tubular atomizer is used, and the opening end of the atomizer is directly connected to the injectors.

INTAKE SYSTEM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

An intake system of an internal combustion engine includes an intake pipe through which an intake passage extends, a throttle valve, and a baffle arranged at a downstream side of the throttle valve in the intake passage. The throttle valve includes a shaft, a first valve body configured to close a first region located at a first side, and a second valve body configured to close a second region located at a second side. When the throttle valve opens, the first valve body is pivoted toward an upstream side and the second valve body is pivoted toward a downstream side. The baffle includes a ring, a first net located at the first side of the ring, and a second net located at the second side of the ring. The first net occupies a larger region than the second net.

THROTTLE BODY WITH FLUID FLOW CONTROL

A throttle body may have a main bore for supplying a fuel and air mixture to an engine. A throttle valve head may be received in the main bore and movable between idle and wide open positions to control fluid flow through the main bore. A main fuel outlet and a boost venturi may open to the main bore and a flow directing feature may alter the velocity and/or direction of fluid flow in the main bore relative to the fuel outlet or boost venturi. The flow directing feature may be carried by the body, the throttle valve head, or the boost venturi.

Methods and systems are provided for generating vacuum via a throttle. In one example, a method may comprise rotating the throttle to a first fully closed position to provide vacuum to a first vacuum consumption device and rotating the throttle to a second fully closed position to provide vacuum to a second vacuum consumption device. The method may further include rotating the throttle to a partially closed position to provide vacuum to both the first and second vacuum consumption devices.

A valve, which is provided in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine to release exhaust, includes a valve seat having an opening opened to the exhaust passage, a valve body having a conical surface or a spherical surface configured to close the opening by coming into contact with the valve seat, a movement unit configured to move the valve body in a direction of intersecting the opening, and an urging unit configured to urge the valve body in the direction of intersecting the opening, and the urging unit controls urging force by the movement unit in a direction of suppressing vibration of the valve body caused by vibration of exhaust pulse frequency determined by a speed of the internal combustion engine and a number of cylinders of the internal combustion engine.

Throttle devices for restricting airflow to marine engines

A throttle device is for a marine engine. The throttle device has a throttle body with a through-bore for conveying air for combustion in the marine engine. A throttle plate is movable into and between a closed position in which the throttle plate prevents airflow through the through-bore and an open position in which the throttle plate allows the airflow through the through-bore. A restrictor device located is adjacent to the throttle plate. The restrictor device restricts the airflow through the through-bore when the throttle plate is moved out of the closed position.

An electronic throttle, including: a throttle housing and, located inside the throttle housing: an electric machine; a torque transfer means; a throttle shaft and a butterfly valve. The throttle shaft passes through a throttle throat, and is supported by being inserted into a first mounting hole and a second mounting hole in the throttle housing, wherein the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole are located in the throttle housing on two sides of the throttle throat respectively, the second mounting hole being located on that side which is closer to the torque transfer means, and the first mounting hole and second mounting hole having inner diameters of the same size. The throttle according to the present device has the advantages of simple component structure, low costs and ease of processing.
