General engine throttle apparatus
A throttle apparatus includes a throttle body (12), a throttle valve (13), a throttle shaft (14), an electrically driven motor (15), a drive gear (23), a driven gear (24), a middle gear (25), and a sensor block (19). The middle gear (25) is held by the throttle body (12) such that a gear shaft is displaced from an imaginary straight line (V) connecting together a motor shaft and the throttle shaft (14). A gear arrangement projection part (34) that projects outward by a displacement amount of the middle gear (25) and a connector arrangement projection part (35) that projects to a same side as the gear arrangement projection part (34) at a position adjacent to a motor housing part (12b) side of the gear arrangement projection part (34) are formed on an outer surface of the throttle body (12). The motor connector (36) is arranged on the connector arrangement projection part (35) such that the motor connector (36) is in parallel with an axis center of the motor shaft and faces another end side of the throttle body (12). The sensor connector (20) is arranged on the sensor block (19) such that the sensor connector (20) is directed toward the axis center from a direction that is orthogonal to the axis center of the motor shaft.
CHARGE FORMING DEVICE WITH THROTTLE VALVE
In at least some implementations, a charge forming device includes a body that has a throttle bore, a throttle valve associated with the throttle bore, a coupler and an actuator. The throttle has a valve head received within and movable relative to the throttle bore, and a valve shaft to which the valve head is coupled. The coupler is connected to the valve shaft and carries or includes a sensor element. And the actuator has a drive shaft coupled to the coupler so that rotation of the drive shaft is transmitted to the coupler and the valve shaft.
THROTTLE DEVICE
In a throttle device including: a throttle shaft to which a throttle valve is secured; a motor; and a deceleration mechanism decelerating rotation of a drive shaft of the motor and transmitting the rotation to the throttle shaft, the deceleration mechanism includes a throttle gear secured to the throttle shaft, the throttle gear includes a tubular ring into which the throttle shaft is detachably inserted and a gear main body including a gear portion, and the gear main body is formed of a resin by insert processing including the ring.
Electronic fuel injection throttle body assembly
Present embodiments provide a throttle body which may be used with a variety of engines of different manufacturers. The throttle body may be used to replace mechanical or hydraulically controlled carburetors with electronic fuel injection. The throttle body may provide improved fuel pathways and fuel injector placement.
System and method for controlling operation of a two-stroke engine having a turbocharger
A method and system for controlling operation of a two-stroke engine having a turbocharger includes the two-stroke engine comprising an electronically controlled exhaust valve. A throttle position sensor generates a throttle position signal corresponding to a position of a throttle plate of a throttle. A boost box is coupled to the two-stroke engine. A boost box pressure sensor is coupled to the boost box and generates a boost box pressure signal corresponding to a pressure within the boost box. A controller is coupled to the boost box pressure signal controlling a position of the electronically controlled exhaust valve in response to the boost box pressure signal and the throttle position signal.
A throttle device, comprising: a throttle valve (13) disposed in a plurality of intake passages (12) of a throttle body (11); a throttle shaft (14) supporting the throttle valve (13); a motor (15) for driving the throttle valve (13) to open and close through the throttle shaft (14); a rotation transmission mechanism (20) interposed between the motor (15) and the throttle shaft (14); and a position sensor to detect a displacement in the rotation transmission mechanism (20). The rotation transmission mechanism (20) includes a pinion (21) driven by the motor (15) and a control gear (23) interlocked with the pinion (21) and integrally connected to the throttle shaft (14). The position sensor (30) to detect an angular displacement of the control gear (23) and the rotation transmission mechanism (20) are disposed between the plurality of intake passages 12.
Electronic fuel injection throttle body assembly
Present embodiments provide an electronic fuel injection throttle body which may be used with a variety of engines of different manufacturers. The throttle body may be used to replace mechanical or hydraulically controlled carburetors with electronic fuel injection. The bores or barrels of the throttle body may comprise one or more stackable fuel injectors. The fuel component cover may include a regulator with a housing formed integrally with the fuel component cover or alternatively, a regulator may be located remotely.
