Distributed HHO Precision Injection System
Injection of HHO gas to plural injection points about an internal combustion engine is controlled based on combustion timing parameters.
HHO Gas Distribution System
HHO gas is distributed proximate combustion chambers of a diesel engine and to a diesel particulate filter regeneration system.
Ultra Low HHO Injection
An ultra low quantity of HHO gas is introduced to an internal combustion engine to improve fuel economy and/or reduce engine-out emissions, for example in a vehicle or generator.
Internal combustion engine control device
An internal combustion engine control device for a dual-injection internal combustion engine acquires first and second increase values, which are fuel increase ratios according to respective alcohol concentrations of a fuel injected by cylinder injection and a fuel injected by port injection. The control device determines a basic total injection amount of fuel that should be supplied to each cylinder in the case where the alcohol concentration of the fuel is zero. An amount of fuel injected from a cylinder injection valve is determined as if the alcohol concentration of the fuel were zero. A total injection amount is to correspond to an amount in accordance with the basic total injection amount and both, the first increase value and the second increase value, so that the increase in injected fuel amount is borne by port injection.
Liquid and gaseous multi-fuel compression ignition engines
Methods of operation of liquid and gaseous multi-fuel compression ignition engines that may be operated on a gaseous fuel or a liquid fuel, or a combination of both a gaseous fuel and a liquid fuel at the same time and in some embodiments, in the same combustion event. Various embodiments are disclosed.
Dual-fuel internal combustion engine
A dual-fuel internal combustion engine with a device for regulating the internal combustion engine, with at least two piston-cylinders, a fuel injector assigned to the piston-cylinder units for a liquid fuel, which has an injector needle. Each piston-cylinder unit has a gas supply device for fuel, wherein the regulating device controls the fuel injector and the at least one gas supply device individually for metering of the quantity of the liquid or gaseous fuel supplied to each piston-cylinder unit. At least one needle sensor is connected to the regulating device and assigned to the respective piston-cylinder unit, which detects a characteristic signal of the needle position in the ballistic range, so that the fuel injector can be operated with individual controllability for each of the at least two piston-cylinder units for the regulation of the supplied fuel quantity in the ballistic range.
COMBINATION CONTROL ASSEMBLY
A combination control assembly for dual fuel internal combustion engine comprises: a bracket (8) that is fixed on an engine shell (12); a micro switch (9) that is used to send signals; a female quick connector (7) is used to connect with the carburetor and a male quick connector (10) is used to connect with the female quick connector (7); a gas pipe (11) is used to connect with the male quick connector (10) and the other side, gaseous fuel; the bracket (8) is provided with the micro switch (9) and the female quick connector (7), the micro switch (9) is provided with a reed (91), and the male quick connector (10) is provided with a trigger tab (101). When the male quick connector (10) is connected to the female quick connector (7), the trigger tab (101) is against the reed (91). A knob component (6) is connected with the fuel valve (5) to control fuel flow in the fuel pipe (4), and the engine flameout is also controlled by the knob component (6).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FUEL INJECTION IN FLEX-FUEL VEHICLE
Disclosed are a method and system for controlling fuel injection in response to a change in the content of ethanol in a FFV having oxygen sensors and an ethanol sensor. The system includes an ethanol content change detection unit configured to detect a change in the content of ethanol, a flow rate calculation unit configured to calculate a volumetric flow rate of blending fuel and to integrate the calculated value, a condition determination unit configured to determine whether the change in the content of ethanol satisfies a condition for applying a fuel injection correction value, a control execution determination unit configured to determine whether to apply the fuel injection correction value by comparing the volumetric flow rate integration value with a preset second reference value, and a controller configured to determine a fuel injection correction value and to adjust an amount of fuel injection.
Mixed fuel engine
A system, method and circuit restricts the amount of a first fuel being provided to a duel-fuel engine, for example a diesel-natural gas engine; wherein a secondary circuit is provided, in parallel, to the circuit formed between the engine control unit, first fuel injector, and ground comprising a dummy load, and a normally closed switch inserted in the first fuel injection circuit; such that when the normally open switch is in a closed state the dummy load provides a resistance to the second sub-circuit, such that a total resistance in the second sub-circuit is equal to a total resistance in the first sub-circuit when the normally closed switch is in a closed state.
System for controlling injection of fuel in engine
System for controlling an injection of fuel in an engine is disclosed. The engine includes a cylinder and a first fuel injector to inject a first fuel in the cylinder. The system includes a sensor disposed on or proximate to the first fuel injector and configured to generate an electrical signal indicative of at least one of a start of the injection and an end of the injection of the first fuel. The system further includes a controller configured to adjust at least one of a mass and the start of injection of the first fuel to be injected by the first fuel injector based on the electrical signal. A dual-fuel engine employing the system for controlling an injection of fuel in an engine is also disclosed. Moreover, method and non-transitory computer readable media for controlling an injection of the fuel are also disclosed.
