A fuel injection controller has terminals which can be connected to the coil of the fuel injector. A first valve-open control portion supplies the valve-opening voltage to the terminals for opening the fuel injector. The first valve-open control portion stops supplying the electric supply to the coil before the fuel injector is positioned at a full-open position. Before the fuel injector is fully closed, a small injection quantity can be obtained. A demagnetization portion forms a demagnetization circuit for demagnetizing the magnetism remaining in the coil. A normal-injection portion controls the fuel injector at full-open position.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FLOW CONTROL VALVE FOR HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP

An apparatus and a method for controlling a flow control valve for a high-pressure fuel pump include: a pressure sensor for fuel in a delivery pipe; a control unit for controlling an operation of a flow control valve by controlling a current applied to a coil; a power switching unit for supplying or blocking driving power supplied to the flow control valve based on a control signal of the control unit; and a current adjustment unit electrically connected/disconnected with the flow control valve by the power switching unit to reduce a current supplied to the flow control valve when the current adjustment unit is connected with the flow control valve. Therefore, a noise and a vibration by collision between the plunger and the core upon closing the flow control valve may be attenuated by adjusting a current amount applied to the coil.

An electronic control apparatus that controls actuation of an inductive load includes: a current detector that detect current flowing through the inductive load and outputs a current detection signal in an analog signal; an analog-digital converter that takes in the current detection signal at a fetch timing, and converts the current detection signal into a current detection value; and a controller that calculates a current arithmetic value by executing arithmetic processing for the current detection value, and controls the current based on the current arithmetic value. The controller obtains a sample data value of the current arithmetic value for each of a plurality of fetch timings. The controller calculates a deflection between an ideal value of the current arithmetic value and the sample data value of the current arithmetic value, and learns the fetch timing, causing the deflection with the ideal value of the current arithmetic value to be minimized.
