Fuel pump with improved delivery properties
The present invention relates to a fuel pump (1) which comprises a pump housing (2), a delivery element (3) for delivering fuel, a heat-generating actuator (4) for actuating the delivery element (3), a first fuel path (5) which leads from an inlet (20) to a delivery space (7), and a second fuel path (6) which leads from the inlet (20) past the heat-generating actuator (4) to a first housing opening (21), wherein the first housing opening (21) is arranged above the inlet (20) in the vertical direction (V). The present invention also relates to a fuel pump arrangement which comprises a fuel pump (1) according to the invention and a fuel tank (10) in which the fuel pump (1) is at least partially and preferably entirely arranged. The present invention also relates to a method for operating a fuel pump (1).
FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY
A sender assembly that has a compact state, which may allow a pump assembly including the sender assembly to be easily inserted into an opening of a fluid tank. For example, the pump assembly may be insertable into the opening of the fluid tank while a longitudinal axis of the pump assembly remains coaxial with the opening. When in the compact state a rotatable arm and a float of the sender assembly may be entirely within or deformable to be within a predetermined envelope that has a radial extent less than the opening of the fluid tank to allow the sender assembly to be inserted straight into the opening. The predetermined envelope may be coaxial with the longitudinal axis and have a cross-section transverse to the longitudinal axis that matches the opening of the tank.

FUEL EJECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A fuel ejector assembly for a vehicle. A second fluid passage extends into a first fluid passage so that a nozzle opening is arranged inside the first fluid passage facing an outlet flow port such that a first flow of fuel in the first fluid passage flows around the nozzle opening. A flow shape unit is disposed within the first fluid passage in connection to the nozzle opening.
Fuel pump assembly with removable and/or movable supports
An in-tank fuel pump assembly may have a mounting flange with a plurality of first coupling features, a fuel pump, a carrier connected to the fuel pump, a plurality of second coupling features on at least one of the carrier and the fuel pump, and a plurality of supports each connected to one or the first and second coupling features to locate the pump relative to the mounting flange. In some embodiments, at least one coupling feature is movable.
Fuel supply device
A fuel supply device includes a flange unit configured to be attached to an upper wall of a fuel tank to close an opening of the fuel tank, a pump unit configured to be disposed within the fuel tank, and a coupling mechanism moveably coupling the pump unit to the flange unit in a vertically slidable manner. The coupling mechanism includes a fixed-side rail member having a rail portion extending vertically from the flange unit, and a movable-side rail member having a channel-groove shaped rail groove extending from the pump unit. The channel-groove shaped rail groove is slidably engaged with the rail portion of the fixed-side rail member. A recess having a semi-circular cross section is formed at a corner of the rail groove of the movable-side rail member.
VEHICLE FUEL PUMP COVER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A fuel pump cover assembly and method for a vehicle includes a cover arranged over the vehicle fuel pump for inhibiting water access to the vehicle fuel pump and at least one clip securing the cover to a feed line for the vehicle fuel pump.
VEHICLE FUEL PUMP COVER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A cover assembly and method for a vehicle fuel pump includes a cover base secured in a fixed position relative to the vehicle fuel pump and a flexible cover connected to the cover base and positioned by the cover base to inhibit water access to the vehicle fuel pump. The method includes securing the cover base in a fixed position relative to the vehicle fuel pump, connecting the flexible cover to the cover base, and positioning the flexible cover with the cover base to inhibit water access to the vehicle fuel pump.
Fuel tank for saddled vehicle
An upper half body flange is disposed over a whole circumference of a lower end portion of an upper half body along a plane and a lower half body flange is disposed over a whole circumference of an upper end portion of a lower half body along the plane. The upper half body and the lower half body are made of titanium material, and the upper half body flange and the lower half body flange have linear outer edges as straight line portions. The upper half body has a side surface, the lower half body has a side surface, and the side surface and the side surface include recesses and convex portions. The recesses and the convex portions are disposed within a range of lengths of the straight line portions when viewed from above in the direction perpendicular to the plane.
Fuel supply devices
A fuel supply device includes a cover member which is attached to an opening of a fuel tank, a pump unit comprising a pump, and a connecting portion for connecting the cover member and the pump unit. The pump unit is connected to the connecting portion so as to be relatively movable to the cover member. When the fuel supply device is attached to the fuel tank, an engagement portion provided at a lower portion of the pump unit abuts the connecting portion such that via the engagement portion the connecting portion presses the pump unit against the fuel tank.
