An inner side wall surface of a gap forming member, which is opposed to a flange outer wall surface of a flange of a needle, is slidable relative to the flange outer wall surface. Also, an outer side wall surface of the gap forming member, which is opposed to a stationary core inner wall surface of a stationary core, is slidable relative to the stationary core inner wall surface. The flange outer wall surface and the outer side wall surface are curved to project in a radially outer direction of a housing in a cross section thereof taken along an imaginary plane, which includes an axis of the housing.

Injector corrosion isolation seal

A fluid injector includes a valve assembly constructed and arranged to control flow of fluid from an inlet to an outlet of the injector. A metal housing surrounds at least a portion of the valve assembly. A plastic body is molded over at least a portion of the housing. A distal end of the body defines an integral stepped portion extending from the body. A carrier surrounds at least the distal end of the body. A seal member is in contact with at least the stepped portion and a surface of the carrier to prevent liquid from entering a space between the housing and the body.

FUEL INJECTION VALVE

Provided is a fuel injection valve capable of quickly stopping a position of a movable element at a predetermined position after closing a valve while reducing an impact force of a valve body. Therefore, a valve body 101 includes a sleeve 113. A first movable core 201 (first movable element) lifts the valve body 101 by the attractive force of a magnetic core 107. A second movable core 202 (second movable element) further lifts the valve body 101 by the attractive force of the magnetic core 107 after the first movable core 201 (first movable element) lifts the valve body 101. After the valve body 101 is seated on the seat member 102 and the second movable core 202 (second movable element) is separated from the sleeve 113, a bottom surface 201g of the first movable core 201 (first movable element) collides with a storage bottom surface 111b (collision receiving portion).

The invention relates to a fuel injector for injecting two liquid and/or gaseous fuels with an injector housing (1), comprising a nozzle body (2) and a valve body (3). A first nozzle needle (7), arranged such that it can move in a stroke-like manner, is arranged in said injector housing (1) for opening and closing an injection cross-section (27). The first nozzle needle (7) is thereby designed as a hollow needle in which a second nozzle needle (8), arranged such that it can move in a stroke-like manner, is arranged. Same cooperates with an inner nozzle seat (25) formed in the first nozzle needle (7) to open and close at least one injection opening (35). The first nozzle needle (7) and the second nozzle needle (8) border an injection chamber (20) that can be filled with fuel via a supply throttle (36). In addition, in an upper switch position, the second nozzle needle (8) is in contact with a seal seat (38) and thereby separates a connection between the injection chamber (20) and the supply throttle (36).

Method and apparatus for manufacturing hollow composite magnetic member, and fuel injection valve

There is provided a manufacturing method of a hollow composite magnetic member having weakened magnetism in a portion of a ferromagnetic hollow member, the method includes: a step of forming a weak-magnetic area having weakened magnetism by melting and mixing a Ni-containing material and the hollow member by continuously supplying the Ni-containing material to a portion of the hollow member and heating the irradiation area having a line segment shape with the laser beam. Accordingly, since it is possible to prevent drop of a local portion of a hollow ferromagnetic pipe from being easily generated by a weak-magnetization treatment, to greatly reduce deformation generated by laser irradiation, and it becomes unnecessary to adjust the shielding gas pressure inside the pipe, the weak-magnetization treatment can be performed with higher efficiency and higher quality.
